After some equipment repair, I finally got my plots bush hogged. Hope to plant next weekend. |

We planted right before that monday where the chance of rain was 100% and then it rained real good again. I went out there two days ago to hunt and checked the plot. Either it couldn't compete with the grass that wasn't cut up well enough or the deer were tearing it up, but only in a few places was it coming up very well, although where it did come up it was 3-4" high. I saw fourteen deer and eight were in the plot at one time so I think they are just keeping it cut, but we'll need to try again. |

BK, sounds like you're on the right path this year.
Finally got my plots planted last weekend. I hope they came up. I'll see next weekend. |
