I am looking to buy my first trail camera and the number of cameras on the market is mind boggling! What should I look for in a camera? Is there a minimum resolution I should look for? Do I want video, Infared?? My price range is $200 - $250. Thanks for the help!!

It all depends on what you want your camera to do and where it'll be used. Take a look at Trailcampro.com and check out their camera reviews and buyers guide. http://www.trailcampro.com/Firsttim...guide.aspx |

Most of the cameras on the market today, have video capabilities, as well as infrared technology. I actually prefer the older style flash cameras simply for the nighttime color images. Just remember that the more bytes a camera can store, the more expensive the sd cards are. In the price range described, the best in my opinion is cuddeback, no discussion or comparison needed. This is from personal experience and use of several other brands. |
