Got the archery season just around the corner. Has anyone been scouting yet? Ive already got my ground blind set up on the deer property with my game cam and going to scout Elk on the 20th and 21st. 

Yum Yum, i see lots of steak. Hope you get one this year, those are all good shooters. I've been out every weekend since mid July. Two weekends ago I got up at 7am and just went a couple miles up the mountain. I saw 5 deer and 2 grouse within 500 yards of each other. I saw a BIG black bear the first weekend of July & 2 bucks the same day. I never have my camera on me so sorry about no pictures. I just hope those deer stay around for a couple more weeks.

Thats some good scouting reports. I only have a couple days before season to go up and scout for elk but its a monday and tuesday so hopefully no one else is around. Give me a chance to go in and set up the tree stand before season

How was your trip? Did the wild fires affect your trip? I'm still seeing alot of Deer around here, my son saw a small Elk herd in Forks last week, but thats nothing new. lol I've got the itch real bad, can't wait to start filling my freezer.

Went fishing monday but got up yesterday to scout and set up the tree stand. Didnt see any elk but a lot of fresh sign from Elk, Deer and a Bear. 

Had this guy in the yard as well. Was hoping to see him a few weeks though. 

And we got these guys on the trail cam for brewster. Stampede pass hasnt been affected by the fire in cle elum. 

That's a good report. It's always good when you get pictures. Nice fish, it hasn't rained here yet so the rivers still need a couple of weeks. I havn't been able to get out to the eastside scouting yet but i have 6 great spots for deer on the wet side. Found a 2 & 4 point on private property. Hope I can put some horns on our wall this year as well as meet in the freezer. I'm counting everyday.
