Just me and a buddy...no guide. We're going to the Mt. Baker area. We've heard good things about that region. Didn't know about the tribal regs though. Thanks for the advice.

Good luck on the hunt. I'm also from Washington. Been trying for bear for a long time. So don't have any good spots for you. Do know a guy from another forum specialty shooting that fron around the Vancouver area and does very well over in that region. So good luck.

If you find a good old clear cut look at the logs in it if they are tore up there are active bears in the area. If not move on to the next one and do the same thing once you find one with tore up stuff in it just sit and wait. Bears are hard to see you have to wait them out and keep glassing for them.

You want a "guaranteed bear"? I always like those guys that say that.....Just too damn easy......I figure a backpack full of peanut butter and bacon sandwiches work OK for those types....

Yeah, I know.....could use SPAM too.

Yeah...I know....cold blooded and nasty attitude......Fun if you look at it right.

I mean, if y'all are chasin' ZOMBIES what's the problem???
