Guys,
I was recently given permission to hunt on private property in Madison.
I have no problem hunting over bait where it is legal. However, neighbors have recently seen two bears on surrounding properties, a sow and her cub.  If I were to put down corn for the deer would it attract the bears as well?
Thx,
JH

bears that advantage of every chance they can put anything resembling food into the bellies, sometimes right after they have eaten..they will eat anything that don't eat them first..so in a word, " YES "

now ya have to ask yourself, did the neighbor really see a sow and cub or are they saying that to keep folks from hunting next to them...either way if ya got permission for private property on the gold coast go for it...cause that is even rarer than seeing bears...
