I had my hands on a few while helping to set up a Friends of the NRA banquet last fall. Can't say I was impressed by what I felt and saw but I had no chance to shoot the gun. |

I bought one on gunbroker.com about 6 months ago. Really nice gun. I bought it to carry on the trapline this winter but I had to try it out. I shot a box of bullets thru it. It seemed to shoot well. I had no jams and the accuracy was good or as good as it gets with me doing the shooting. I have nothing negative to say. As for positive, it works as it is supposed to. |

I've heard nothing but bad about them. I'd rather pay a little more the first time, to but something that will last a lifetime, than end up with a POS. |

bought the one imported by colt under the umarex name for my wife. it has about 500 rounds thru it with no jams and great accuracy. the only down fall is trying to find extra mags for it. id look into how easy it is to find parts for it and if its hard go and look at the one sig makes, both the colt and the sig felt great and were well built but the sig was easier to find parts and extra mags |

For just al little bit more you could do a lot better with the Sig Sauer 1911-22. |

Ruger or the Browning Buckmark, (unless you're intent on a 1911 design) for the price they can't be beat. If you like wheel guns, then the Taurus Tracker is an excellent choice in a DA, or again Ruger for SA. |

I would get the gsg version ( the sig is made by gsg). I have put several hundred rounds through mine. To me it's the best one especially for the money. |

Go with the GSG 1911. It shoots great and you can use colt or wilson parts in it. I love mine. The only clips I could find were the Sig clips. They were a little more expensive. You can get coversion kits for the clips so they will hold 15 rounds. All in all it is a gread plinking gun for the price. |

jde, don't you mean magazines? Handguns don't use stripper clips! |
