What happened with messaging. Can't seem to be able to send a new one. Is anyone else having an issue with it? |

There went that finger again. Just erased the whole line. I'll see what comes out. It seems that we can't delete our own stuff(like when it doubles up). |

Thanks holly. Sent myself two messages clicking the envelope. My inbox shows 0, but they are there. Sent also shows 0. The new message deal still did not work for me. Thanks again. |

Thanks to the web support group for moving all the Social Group B/S to a header all their own. The fourm page looks much better now without all those red flags and wasted space. |

Your welcome Grandpops. We have a long list of stuff we're finding and fixing so hopefully things look like they are shaping up. Some of this inbox stuff may not get addressed til next week so I'm so thankful for you guys helping each other with the work arounds and pointing this stuff out to us. So tell me what you guys think of the social stuff. What do you like, what do you not like? I'm also curious what you like about the forums and how you as hunters use it. Thanks. |

I've never used the social stuff. My first experience with it was when the Forums page started getting cluttered by the Groups folders. I usually try to browse through the Forums at least once a day, and then it's only on certain topics that I have interest in, such as Muzzleloading, Firearms, Reloading, WhiteTail, Varmints, Handguns, LifeMember, Miscellaneous, and my State. I usually don't bother with the other topics unless a thread title just jumps out and gets my attention. |

I was the original beta tester for the social site, then came holly, jlowe, gfaber, and lunkerdog. None of our suggestions and ideas were ever acknowledged, must less installed. From my experience over there, the best is ease of posting pictures. Other than that, it's very similar to some of the same threads here with the complaints gripes, and daily hellos. I get much more information and interaction here on the forums. I don't even bother visiting the other side, unless I have received a message alert from someone over there. |

I looked at the Social Groups briefly. Reminded me of chat rooms, which I can't stand as all of the conversations just run together. Hate it. I'll stay here on the threaded side where you can actually follow a conversation... no offense. |

Oh, an Lloyd, could you add fixing the time setting on the forum posts please? It is called the North American HC but the current timezone setting for posts is in Iceland I believe. Fairly annoying. Most forum software has settings so that individuals can set the timezone that posts have. ie. My setting on most forums is GMT-5 hours for Eastern time, so all of the time/date stamps are shown to me as EDT where someone on the west coast could set theirs to GMT-8 and the posts would appear to them as pacific time. Thanks |

Oh, and also; how about an "ignore thread" function? That way w could simply hit that on all of the whining posts about free stuff, not getting anything to field test, etc... that'd be very nice. Or even better, a tool to setup thread filters. ie: Don't display any posts where the subject contains "free gift" for example |

The Contact Us button has been restored at the bottom of the page. Somehow it was left out when we were moving around code between pages, and it was actually still there on the home page which is what caused the wait because we didn't realize it was gone on just the forums page. Thanks for pointing that out guys! |
