I've never posted on here, always have a hard time remembering my member number, but I was having problems with trying to sign up for StuffStuff also so I started perusing the forums trying to find out whether anybody else has had the same problems I have. I did find an email for them, support@stuffstuff.com, and sent them a detailed email regarding my registration probelm, filling everything in and it not registering me. I gave a very DETAILED report of my problem, stating the EXACT steps that I took, and I received an email back from "Leah" stating that I should use the EXACT SAME steps that I just told her, to register. After trying again, just to say I did, I did not send a NEW email, I REPLIED to the original email stating that I had already done everything she had stated and had done so multiple times. I reiterated that the problem must be on their end as the only error I was getting was the "Email and/or password is incorrect" one in the log in screen. I received a reply BACK from her within minutes and she is now trying to register me herself. I'll let y'all know how it goes, but my advice is to keep hitting REPLY, that way the original message is always attached and (hopefully) you won't run into the same problem crippledhunter is having. |

Just to let everyone know, the SS team did get me registered and I have my points and was able to access the website just fine now. I will say though after looking at the list of available testing products, this program is pitiful. But, I didn't join just to get free stuff. |

Well, sorry you feel that way but I dang sure ain't blowing smoke up your rear. I am not a tech, and don't appreciate being associated with snakes. I have always found, since you must be ignorant of these things, that it is better to hit REPLY when dealing with tech support or customer service by email than to send a new email every time. That is what I did, and therefore got the same tech the entire time. I am relentless when dealing with customer service and tech support because they only give the SCRIPTED answer they are taught to give you, and if you hound them long enough then they will fix it. If you don't believe me then here is the copy of the entire email. Next time think before you open your pie hole. Hi, Your StuffStuff log in credentials are the following: email:
jamesrwallacejr@hotmail.com password: xxxxxx Once you log in, go to the upper right hand corner with your display name and in the drop down select Your Account Dashboard.
Complete the three items on the screen to get your account ready for testing.
Also, you can change your password information to whatever you want by going to your account dashboard. Just make sure
your password is at least 8 characters long! Thanks for joining, Leah The StuffStuff Team

I stated in the original message I have ALREADY DONE ALL OF THESE
STEPS. I just tried again and still it just takes me back
to a log in screen where, AGAIN, I cannot log in because it is saying
that my email address and/or password is incorrect. ALL STEPS HAVE BEEN
FOLLOWED MULTIPLE TIMES, there is something wrong on your end that is
not allowing the registration to go through.
Like I said the only error message I get is that I cannot log in
because your system for some reason is not accepting my registration.

am a Trophy Life Member of North American Hunting Club and have been
trying to register with your site and it's not working. I go through
the NAHC site
to get to the registration site and some information is already filled
in, i.e. First Name, Last Name, Display Name, Join Code, and E-mail. I
fill in my username and then confirm my e-mail and set-up my password.
When I hit "Complete Registration" it takes
me back to the log in screen and I try to log in and it says my
password and/or email is incorrect. Hit "Forgot Password" and fill in
correct email and it says there is profile associated with that email.
Other than when I try to log in, I not getting any
other error messages to let me know whether there is something wrong
with my registration. A speedy resolution of this matter would be
greatly appreciated.

Well I came across this and went and signed up. I didn't seem to have any problems in doing so, as I have checked back in several times just to look and my profile shows complete and my choices for the products show up. I'm wondering if anyone knows if this is the next step from the test they did back around the first of the year. I participated in that program, but the site for it was producttestzone and the last email for it sounded like that would be the new field test program. The format was pretty much the same as this Stuffstuff site and some of the products are the same. The big difference I see is the points, the other did not have points you just picked your choices out of different levels and could select products out of any level. Some products you chose had a few questions to answer to better match your preference or test qualifications. Anyway I was just wondering if this was an extension of that, because I would not have known about Stuffstuff if I had not stumbled across it on these forums. |

OK, one more post....I just received the email today about joining "stuffstuff"...I told her I have no interest in taking part in somethng that can't back it's word and only let's good folks down to the point they are losing interest in the club. The only sincere part of her reply was the "Dear Paul", the rest was just read from a script. Sorry folks, scam! Ya Lunkerdog, I've seen some pretty brutal post's on here before, that's for sure! It's pretty funny sometimes though! LOL! |

Yup GLW, them puter tough guys can be a hoot!!! Some may actually be pretty damn tough, but I'm reminded of my days doing PR work for a company that handled right of way maintenance for power-lines/pipelines ect... We did re-clearing work, but in the Summertime the most effective method of brush control was using herbicide which is unpopular with many here in Northern MN. For the most part we did door to door contacts, but quite often we had phone contact before we had face to face contact. It still amazes me to think about how tough, and hostile many were on the phone, and then turned into some of the friendliest people you've ever met once your talking to them face to face. Many were even apologetic for their behavior on the phone. As a result of that work some 20 years ago I bare a certain prejudice about just how tough many with their puter muscles actually are |

They said to expect 3 to 4 weeks for delivery from Bio-Logic and they even said that if I post pictures with the report, as well as posting about it on other websites and/or blogs I will receive additional points good towards future test products!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now, let's see if I actually get it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
