ok, I just checked my review and it is there but no picture? Shouldn't I have gotten more than just my 25 points for my level 2 review?

Complete the required Post Test Report:
Level 1 = 11 points
Level 2 = 25 points
Level 3 = 45 points
Level 4 = 80 points
Level 5 = 113 points
Level 6 = 140 points
Write a Product Review and post to StuffStuff - Earn bonus points for photos included in the review! (3-6 points possible - depending on level)
Earn bonus points for photos included in the review (3-6 points possible - depending on level)
Interact on Facebook and Twitter about the product via Social Sharing (2-4 points per action - depending on level)
Post comments and reviews on other sites and record the URL (4-8 points per approved post - depending on level - and there is a max of 10 uploads)

Now, what the "depending on level" means I haven't a clue.

Well that's what I thought? I guess you guys are confusing me a tad about getting more points for reviews? Dang Steve, you must be burning up the keys on your computer gaining a point here and there to equal over 100?

Danggummit, I'll go look for my review now I guess, it is checked, and today adding the pic worked for it but who knows. The day I was doing the review I had to rewrite it 3 or 4 times because when it went to upload the pic the whole page screwed up and I had to start all over, so finally I said screw the pic.

Today, when I went to SS, an entire list of products showed as available to test.......some of them were only available for purchase, yesterday, so I guess the difference is in going into each category separately, rather than selecting "all".

My product test review didn't work originally for the spreader, but after several back and forth e-mails, Customer Service finally got it fixed. I don't and won't do FB or Twitter, but I posted the URLS for the EDH site, Outdoor Channel, Buckmasters, and the NAHC Social pages. I had pictures on all of them except for Buckmasters ( I've never figured out how to post pics on that site). I also did three reviews of products that I have used or own, and am now at 67 total points, after starting out with 30 prior to getting a test item. The only problem that CS doesn't know how to solve, is I posted reviews on the other sites for both the spreader and the sandwich, but the system won't allow the same URL to be used more than once.......so now I don't know if I'll ever be able to use those site addresses for any future tests or not.

Steve, the different clubs that fall under the NAMG used to be listed at the bottom of every page on the NAHC site, but I see they aren't shown any longer. There are the NAHC, NAFC, Handyman Glub, Gardening Club, and a couple more that I can't remember. So, I'm guessing that as they add the other clubs, then there will be a profile and possible 5 additional points for each club, not to mention the points based on those membership levels if applicable.

Thanks for the info rt and g-faber; let us know what happens. I've had no problems but I know people have. Not surprising considering it's a relatively new site/program/software. As a software tester for 38 years, I can gar-un-tee there are bugs in everything.

No, I haven't heard or seen anything about it.  Does anyone know how to let the club know how you feel about a test product on line?  In the past they would send you a reply form in the mail.  I wonder if they still do that. Or, do you send them your findings on line? They had me do a test with topo maps one time on line.  I was supposed to get 3 free topo maps while doing the test.  The topo company wanted to charge me for them.  There was a special address to go to for the test so that I could get the maps.  If on line.  Where do you go to give your test results?

bigrig, unless the test item came from StuffStuff, there is no longer any way to file a report. The old test report address will only link you back to joining StuffStuff. If the item came from SS, then it will be listed on your dashboard at the SS site, after you log-in. There will be a description of the item sent to you for testing, and then a "complete the review" button on the right side of the description box. Click on it and follow each step in order. That is the ONLY way to file a test report now. Everything from the old field testing days is gone and no longer exists.

If you tested those topo maps from the old program, and are having a problem, then I'd send an e-mail to member services@huntingclub.com if I were you.

rt, to get points for posting on other sites, make sure you start a new thread for each item on those sites. Then they will have different page addresses. I did that with both of my tests and got credit for both sites for both items. Simply adding them on to an established thread will make it look like a repeat.

Stuffstuff emailed me back and forth a couple times today and said my points after testing are correct. We are supposed to "net" 0 points after the post test report. We are not supposed to gain any additional points beyond what we started with. We are supposed to gain more points by tweeting about products, liking them on facebook, posting reviews on other sites, pictures, etc.

They were still going to look into it, but somethings not right if all you guys got your points you lost plus the ones for the test report, and I got shorted 45-50 points by the same method. Somethings screwed up with their points system.

wow, from my experience, I'd certainly agree with you g-faber. As I said, I had 105 and was charged 10 for testing the ring knives. After I posted my report (complete with 3 pics) and linked to FB and twitter, I'm at 133.

No clue how their points work then, not sure they do.

I wonder if the points for pics and tweets, etc will ever be dropped if you don't ever post new pics of other products? If not, you could get hundreds of points and just sit fat? From there you would only lose the favored points for the next test product and gain them back after the report?

I noticed the StuffStuff site stated they had a need for people to test level 1 and 2 items for a while. I have 2 of each level on my wish list since July that I am still waiting for. Is it because I already tested 2 items that I am over their limit to test more? I have friends at work that are members of the fishing club and they are in the same situation as I am.
It seems to me that if StuffStuff really needs more level 1 and 2 reviews that perhaps people that have been waiting for 2 - 3 months to test level 1 and 2 items would get a chance. Not trying to sound greedy or of the entitlement mentality but curious.
