Well, after one month from signing up I just received a package of Rage Extreme broadheads in the mail. I have used Rage for the past three years and have had good results with them, but for certain reasons I decided against using them again. Well? They must have listened to my complaints because they have built a new collar that holds the blades in place instead of a rubber band which will easily deploy the blades prematuraly if bumped slightly by a twig or even grass. I guess I will kill my first deer this year with them and file my report. They have also made them with a wider cutting area! The 8pt in my evador was killed with a rage. We will see?

Good luck GLW! It seems as though this program is miles better than the old one! They apparently still have some kinks that they're working out (hopefully), but it still seems better than before.

Ya, I'm a bit of a skeptic, but I also believe in giving folks a chance to prove themselves. I'm still not impressed on how they work their "point" system. Kinda like dangling the carrot in front of the horse, no?

can't argue with that one but just from my personal experience so far it's an improvement. So far, I've gotten the Gerber Myth fixed blade knife with sheath, the MRE style sandwich, and now I have the ring knife on the way.
I agree the point thing is a bit weird but there's usually weirdness of somekind.

I'm just impressed with the list of folks here that have gotten stuff. More have gotten things than are in the list but some folks didn't read and just posted a post rather than updating the list and you'd have to scroll back through the thread to find those, became too much of a pita to keep it up

I agree with y'all this is a lot better than what they had before three years of getting nothing I've already got the eo tech 512 which is very nice no the big question is how long will it take to test something else.

From the FAQ:

3. How often can I expect to get stuff to test?
It depends on how active you are in StuffStuff. In StuffStuff, you get to apply to test stuff you are interested in. The more often you apply, the more often you will be selected for stuff to test; however, we do our best to make sure everyone gets at least one item to test a year.

And from the main page:
Testers Needed for Level 1 & Level 2 Products
For some products we get thousands of units and others tens or hundreds. Usually, the higher valued products have fewer units and the lower valued products higher units.

So if you have been applying for only the higher valued products, you have more competition than if you would be applying for the lower ticket items. We encourage everyone to apply to test products at all level if possible.

The more stuff you get to test, the more points will accumulate. Level 1 or 2, doesn't matter - it all adds points.

Don't really know. I'd just say to sign up for the 10 allowed items, level 1 and 2 as well as higher if you have the points. The more reviews the more points. But you can only review so much of course. If you link to FB and Twitter it does increase the point count much faster. Other that that, I have no clue how to be "active".

PVIGILETTI, check out the products that are shown even if they aren't available for testing, and if you find something that you have ever used, file a review on it. That will get you additional points. An example is two products that I use that are currently shown as available for testing, the Scent Killer Gold field spray and laundry detergent.

yep, review everything on the site that you've used. If you include pics that you have of it; more points. If you happen to have FB and/or Twit. - use 'em; more points, have other sites you can post a review on; more points.  Not really much meaning to it yet as there are only a couple of things over level 3 but maybe sometime the more points will matter.

Logged into StuffStuff today to see if they had added anything new to be tested and discovered that all the items I had listed in my testers wish list and been removed. Makes it rather difficult to be a product tester when they remove everything you had selected without letting you know. Would of been nice to at least receive an E-Mail letting me know that the items I had selected were no longer available for testing, Kiss MY Azz or something.

Has everyone gone in and completed the "handyman" profile and earned an additional five points? The choices for items to test are running out, and there wasn't anything available for the handyman to sign up for.

Well it has been close to two years and I have not been selected to test anything through NAH.  One of the main reasons I originally joined is to test hunting products.  I like the idea of being able to select stuff of interest, but do not have enough points for many for the things that I use on a regular bases when hunting.  I have done the main things to get extra points, but is there anything I am missing besides facebook and twitter to get points and to get noticed to be selected?

Thanks RT, I missed that.

Brant: Fill out all the profiles, link to this site. If you're a life member that should get you easily into level 2.

Fill out reviews for ANY of the things on SS that you have used, include pictures if appropriate. And you mentioned FB and Twitter.

That's about it. Check out the FAQ on the SS Site for all the specifics.

A lot of people only apply to test the highest level that they qualify. The problem with that is; the higher the level the smaller amount to go around for testing. Therefore greatly reducing your chances. Points are points weather testing a level 1 or level 6

And if your main reason for joining was to be able to test products, as someone who shall remain nameless would say: You didn't read the Terms and Conditions prior to joining.

I shot a buck with the Rages I received and filled out the report. I got 36 points back. The choices are dwindling down but I still have about 6 items on my list, so maybe I'll get something else?

Who knows GLW, it's a crap shoot at best. I did sign up for level 1 and 2 stuff and should be getting the ring knife in the mail any day. That will make 3 for me since SS came into the picture. The Gerber knife, the MRE style sandwich, an now the ring knife.... points is points. ;-)

Hey holly,
Just heard from Brian, He said you live close to the Air Force base where I was stationed in the 60's. Won't mentioned any names for your privacity's sake, but I met my wife of 46 yrs. there, and just wanted to say you live in some pretty country.
