I just found out that I did draw a bear tag for unit 61.  I know there are some big bear there, but I live in Grand Junction and I won't have very many oppritunities to travel there to scout.  Anyone give me some places to concentrate on?

Anyone else get a bear tag for this area that would want to team up?  I don't have a camper, but I can put in for gas and food. I already have a week vacation in September set. If I don't get one then, I want to do weekend hunts after for the rest of the season.

If I can't find someone to go with I'm afaid I might miss out on a lifetime chance.

I normally hunt the Grand Mesa area where it's closer to home.

I hate to say, but I had to refund the tag. I was denide the vacation time I requested. At least I got my 5 points back.
