Yeah reminds me of when I lived in PA on a farm used to look out the window at night and watch the deer in the garden about 20yds from the house...

I found where I will be hunting Harlequin (sea ducks) and it is 3 blocks from my house. Hope all of your scouting efforts are being as good as mine.

Hey Everett I see you made home. Harlequin ducks OH MY!!!!! If you get one please send pictures. I hear they are gorgeous ducks.
On the way home last night a doe was on the side of the road on the driveway of a neighbor two doors down from us on the Hwy. I stopped and checked her out. She must not have been there for more than an hour due to the blood had not even started quagulating. So I threw her up in the pick up and took her home. I was able to salvage the front and hind quaters and the back straps. She was one of the deer that my wife had been feeding this year with Alfalfa cubes and sweet cob. She had soooo much fat on her for this time of the year and with it being so dry it was nice to see. I put the meat in an ice chest with blocks of ice due to no room in the frig or frezzer on such short notice plus it was 100 degrees today. So I am thinking BBQ this weekend!!!

Galen, Gordy has a good point. Silly CA laws.

I think this happened to you in a different state years ago, but you are just telling us now.
Life is best in the West, Buhs (I wearing the green shirt, I have my Mom with me in this picture RIP)

Gosh I hate California laws and regulations. You just can't do anything anymore! Everything is sooo dam expensive!!! I love living in California due to all it has to offer, but I just can't keep spending all my money to just get by. I think it is time to start looking for a new job outside of The Socialist State of California. Too many people are getting a free ride and the laws protect them more that the tax payer. BAH HUM BUG!!!!
