you've got me by 5 years, congrats! I don't have the urge what so ever for a cig though, even after some beers. I have puffed on a couple of stogies by the firepit but not many. Gotta stay and be a support system for Bill!

Hang in there gutpile! Honestly, it does get better!
Due to the high cost and unavailability of ammo today do not expect to get a warning shot!!

Good luck to all of you, I never somked much, the best was some of the pipe blends like George Washington. My mother was a heavy smoker, I am 66, she died at one week before her 58th birthday--> lung cancer was one of her problems.

I admit, I could never understand how anyone could stand them, I never had anyone pushing me to smoke so I never got much past the foul tasting first couple of puffs. I am happy that anyone can quit.

Hey Gutpile, congratulations on your quitting smokes. I quit cold turkey when I moved to Missouri 12 years ago. I also slowed way down on beer at the same time, seemed go hand in hand, but I missed the beer a lot more than the cigs. It's really nice to be able to smell things again and taste what i'm eating too. Good luck with your progress my friend, I'm certain you can beat it.
