Make this short....action from just before dawn  until I killed him with 5 birds coming in from all sides of me and following live hens I called in....20 #'s 10inbeard and 1 in spurs....not a bad opener...and dropped him on picnic table...and heard gobbling from where I'd just walked!!

Thanks guys....I've been super busy and living between our sons and home this week...so I've only managed the 3 am wake up/3:30 on the road call a few times...dog/house sitting....but I had a slob come in the other morning but couldn't get him to close that 60yrds to the decoys...feeder...breeder and Jake....This a.m. I had A fine time chatting with a very vocal hen...first one really talking....there were 7 birds but too far out see get a good sight ...left glasses in other bag......They left and I snuck into check out the area...all tore up right at a ground blind I made years ago...figures...so I left clearing the path to that blind ...storm messed everything up but she's all clear now...hoping to score in next few days

One morning this reason I had a hen that would respond ever time I called. I thought for a while it was a hunter on the next property but it wasn't she was just very vocal.

Thanks guys...well I've been out several times since and have had plenty of deer come to my calls but no turkey...save 3 Jakes I let walk early on...I said to my self at the time I may regret this........lol...haven't heard a peep since...chicks are hatching already and nothing is moving in the woods nor the farmers fields...Oh well they are out there some place....just hiding
