I was told once you fired your gun that you don't have to full sized you brass agin. You just half to use a neck sizer.

Ditto.  You save very little in working the brass by fill-length resizing as compared to just neck sizing.

I started to full length resize all my cartridges because I had a few for one of my bolt action rifles that wouldn't chamber without being resized.

I have two 7mm Rem mags and brass fired in #1 will fit in #2 but not the other way around. The chambers are slightly diffrent in size. So I have to be very carfull when I neck size and label the diffrent rifle loade clearly. If I am going on a out of area hunt I full size all ammo taken so I know it will fit both rifles.

Once I fire a cartridge in a certain rifle I seldom full length resize it. I do however make sure the hunting loads will chamber in the rifle. All my rifles are bolt action. I feel that I get the best accuracy with a neck sized reload. I do have a challenge though as I have several rifles that are the same caliber and have to keep the cartridges separate for each rifle. I use several colors of perm marker on the heads of the cases and only work on one at a time.

That is only true if you use the ammo in only the rifle that you shot it out of .. But if you reload your ammo alot you should use the full sizing die because that way you know that the ammo will fit and feed with no problems.. Also if you are reloading belted mag's or any other cases you should trim to size all of the cases.. you can get the trim info online or maybe one of us have your info for you.. Neck sizing after an initial firing is usually adequate if used in the same bolt action and you are willing to exert a little extra force on the bolt handle. In a belted cartridge such as a 7mm RM, it has the added value of setting the headspace on the shoulder instead of the belt, which makes for longer case life and, perhaps better accuracy.
That said, I always full length size hunting ammo after a frustrating experience with a neck-sized 30-06 getting stuck just out of battery and a huge deer 5 yards away. (the ammo was loaded and test-fed in a 68 degree basement and the hunting was at 105 degrees)
