Not sure where but I do know my first day will once again be first light on Sun. That crowd on Sat. isn't my cup of tea anymore . Good luck !

Any1 catch anything? I caught between 16-25. Nothing bigger then 16 inches. Kept the biggest 5 threw the others back.

i sure miss the opening day of trout back home in pa...i remember it as always way crowded, but i did enjoy it.

have not experienced anything like ot since I left the state 20-some years ago

 

Sadly huntnrich im in the apr14 opener hoepully il catch half that many!

i have about 50 or 60 catch and release .i still like opening day .ill go to north park just for the crowds ,what i like is fly fishing small steams with no one around

glamarca im heading up towards erie for a fly fishing retreat second weekend, Im so Excited. it will be my first time fly fishing

I truly hate the opening day of trout season.........first my property gets overrun with ignorant flat landers...........then i get told I cant fish on my own property.........then i was told I needed permission slips.........When I returned with the state trooper and started to issue tresspass fines everybody was shocked...........then I was asked why are you doing this....word to the wise ask for permission first and not for forgiveness later

They are doing the 2nd stocking where i fish tomorrow. I'm taking my 2 children out there on Sunday.
