Okay guys, Got back in Maine around 8:30 Monday night. Spent last night cutting up hog meat we brought home! That's right! My oldest boy and I each shot nice meat hogs Saturday afternoon. We decided we wanted to try a hunt with the dogs on Sunday Morning and we scored there also! My youngest boy made the kill on that one. We all had an awesome time! I honestly don't have a bad thing to say about Bostick. My wife says the entire experience was awesome (even the southern bar-b-q!). It's easy to go online and talk trash about someplace if it doesn't meet your highest expectations, and then everyone reads that and it goes on from there. It's also just as easy to write good things, but most people don't because they just don't think about it. Therefore only the bad reviews go around. Did we each shoot 2 hogs a day as allowed? No, we didn't. But that IS hunting, isn't it. We did meet some really great people, we feel the guides were doing their best to put us onto hogs (we know there are hogs there because we could hear them in the woods around us. Not much you can do to make them come out if they don't want to.) , we felt safe in all of the stands we were in and all the stands we saw looked just as safe. All of the stands we sat at and saw were well baited. We did end up staying at the executive lodge because they said work was being done on the main lodge. Don't know what was being done, don't care. We had a very nice place to stay. Again, we had an awesome time! RT it was a pleasure meeting you. Maybe we will get back down there and we could do lunch again.

Glad to hear you had a good trip and have meat for the freezer! I've often wondered about heading there for deer but rather doubt it now that I'm retired.

How much did ya bring home?

Great to hear you guys had such a good time. Your dead on with no one hesitates to complain, but many forget to praise. Thanks for sharing. Sounds like it was a heck of a trip for ya.
