Prayers still coming your way Brian, you've come so far these past few months. Hang in there buddy, the road to recovery is getting shorter all the time for you. And with this kind of support team how could it not work out. Bless you and yours, Steve Albers |

Hope you are feeling better soon, Brian. All your friends are pulling for you. Took my daughter out turkey hunting with me a couple of weeks ago. She was using the double-barrel slate/glass call you made for our NWTF banquet. She had never used a turkey call before, but had a couple of toms gobbling back to her, but they wouldn't cooperate enough to offer a shot. |

HI FOLKS. Been in the hospital this week monday through wednesday, but I'm home now. Went in Monday to get my throat stretched open so I could start eating again. It turned out to be so closed up that they had to keep me in and use a heart cath type thing to find the way through. They then left the wire in until wednesday when they followed it down to open it up. First thing eaten was a bit of vanilla icecream. Today..a scrambled egg, cup of noodles and mac and cheese. Not alot but not bad after 4 months of nothing. My stomach seems to have shrunken...It took 1 egg to fill me up. THANKS AGAIN FOR THE PRAYERS AND WARM WISHES....they REALLY do work...:-) |

Not quite yet. Had fish sticks the other night and it was difficult to get them down. |

It will be slow but perservere, I son't know you but judgeing from some of the posts in the past, you are good at hanging in there. Also judgeing from the posts, there are a bunch that do know you and like you very much as a person so I am going to add (again) my best wishes and thoughts for your recovery. |

Chatted with him yesterday afternoon after Doc visit. Doc thinks fistubla will close on its own without further surgery which would be major...that's the good news. He will have to stay on feed bag and tube for at least another month. Also throat is closing up again like a kitchen drain pipe so back to neck stretcher Doc probably next week. Other good news is he is maintaining his weight well and is only a few pounds from prime fightin weight. |
