I have a jerkey shooter and found that if you load it up and place your finger over the nozzle and pump it the jerkey is more compact and holds together very well. I used to cut the meat in strips and most times it came out similar to shoe leather. My best tasting recipe was concocted with various ingredients and in unmeasured quantities and I am still trying to replicate it.
