Thanks Tom, he's my bud. He'll be 3 in Nov. I do wish he had some fur on his face, but he does have a tougher coat than a shorthair. He loves swimming in the Mississippi!

  Here's a pic from last week. First time out with my dog, although we did have another dog with us who found most of the birds.  He did a great job for the first time out though.

Here is my black lab pup Dugan.  He is around 7 months old in this picture (10 months old now).  He has destroyed my house and everything in it (I am not cut out to be an Alpha ).

Really cool dog though, and I think he has good potential as a hunter. 

Not an Alpha? Ain you a lawyer Toonces? LOL! My chocolate doesn't hunt unfortunately. She is 5 and has some arthritis issues. She loves retrieving in the ponds though!
