Banta, I hope they find them. But thieves suck. They take from us hard working people, without caring. Hope it works out somehow.

I recently stopped in East Ok on way back from an Elk hunt in Wyoming to meet relatives and to pick up some family heirloom items. One of the items was a nickel plated, double action Smith & Wesson Scofield pistol my great grand dad, carried when he was a lawman  in the late 1800's and early 1900's. Reason the family passed it to me was they knew I had the interest and they were afraid of thieves. His Marlin 38-40 rifle was stolen about a year before from the back seat of a dual cab.

Sorry to hear that guys.  That sucks.  I've been hit twice.  Once in Clarksville,Tn 30 odd years ago.  And, in New Orleans 25 yrs ago when they broke into my semi.  Never saw any of them again.  In case your wondering.  I had a cva repro 1861 colt Navy 44 cap and ball in the truck.  It's classified as a primitive weapon.  The cops couldn't mess with me then.  Who knows now with the bull thats been passed since then. I hate to say this.  You may as well write them off.  You probably won't see them again.
