Evidentally, their customer service has declined. My fist trail cam was a stealth cam, that used 35mm film. It lasted well over 5 or 6 years, before the rewind mechanism went bad in it. It was actually cheaper to buy a new digital camera than continue to pay for film and development, so I switched to a Moultrie. I now have two Wildviews, one Moultrie, and one cuddyback, but wouldn't hesitate to use a stealth cam again. BTW was that 4 1/2 weeks, or 4 to 12 weeks? 4 1/2 isn't a bad turn around, but 12 weeks is a long time.

I've never tried the Stelth Cam, and probably never will unless I get one as a gift.

I've bought two Cuddys, and still don't own one, Toonces has them both.

If I do buy another cam for myself it will be a Cuddy. Everyone I've talked to that are using them say's that they have a great trigger speed. I'm not overly impressed with the trigger speed of my two Moultries. I get a lot of hind quarters, and blank pics.

Lunker, I used to get great pics with that old 35mm camera, and they were also color pics regardless of day or night. I have noticed that my one Moultrie seems to take a lot of pics with just shadows and wind triggering the cam. The wildviews don't seem to light up the night time pics and are slow as well. The cuddy does take some pretty pics, but I just relocated mine since I wasn't getting much activity where it was.

Not a problem Holly there's some good info here

Since we're on the subject of tcams has anyone ever tried the SpyPoints? There 7.0 daytime 4.0 infrared lists at $309.99, I can get one NIB for half price. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not.

I'm going to post this in a couple more forums to see what kind of feedback I get.

Lunker, all I've seen are the commercials for them, and maybe one or two print media advertisements. Don't they have an option for sending the pics to a computer or cellphone?

I'm not sure RT4, I'm still researching them. I was stuck by the 50% mark down. That's a pretty big chunk, I'm wondering if their having a tough time moving them for some reason. All the cams go on sale at this time of year, but you don't usually see that big of a mark down.

LD, it was funny, but after reading your post about this, I saw an advertisement for them on one of the hunting programs yesterday!

I still haven't bought a trail cam yet, been putting it off fir too long. I don't know what type would be best for starting out. My shack is 2hours from home so I don't get up there every weekend.

niemz, if you want to start out economically in order to see if it's something you enjoy and utilize, the Wildgame Innovations cameras are very inexpensive. They actually have a two pack that runs about $70.00.
