I am looking for an archery elk hunt for two in Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, etc.  We will trade for two 7-day spring black bear hunts in northern Saskatchewan.  This hunt is at a fly-in lodge.  You fish in the morning and hunt bears in the afternoon.  Great fishing for walleye, big northern pike, lake trout, and even arctic grayling.  You'll have your own cabin, guide, and great food.  In exchange we are looking for an archery elk hunt, prefer some easier terrain or hunting from ground blinds or tree stands.  Send me a PM if you are interested.

Im from Washington and will be archery hunting elk in november for 11 Days from Nov 24th thru Dec 4th. Its on public land but being thanksgiving weekend the populations are low and during that week. Its the late hunt here as well. Let me know if you want more info. Not sure how to send PM since i am new to the forums but the exchange sounds nice.

I live in Wyoming and would be interested in swapping a hunt with you. I hunt all national forest lands and love archery hunting. If interested you could hunt antelope and deer as well. Feel free to PM me or contact me at kmessamer@yahoo.com .

Take care,
Kevin

Hi, Just saw your post this morning. I hunt 3 different locations on public land in Colorado. All are fairly easy hunting at 9000-1000 feet elevation. Nothing too steep. I'm 59 and have a titanium knee so I hunt areas I know I can get on elk and have an easy pack out. I've harvested numerous bulls over the years, however, anything over 300 inches is rare with an over-the -counter tag, but attainable. Unlimited Non-resident archery tags are $551.00. I was scouting last week and found a pretty nice 6 point, but couldn't get on him this past Saturday when the season opened. They should start bugling in about a week or 2. There are quite a few bears in one of the areas, but I'm not sure if there are any tags left. I hunt from a pop-up camper that sleeps 4 and parked at 9200 feet. I drew one of 10 special access permits for a private ranch in a state park for Sep 19-25 other than that, I'm available the rest of the season to take you. Archery season runs Aug 27-Sep 25th.
