Cent and Trout, Why is it all you liberals keep blaming Bush for everything? In case you haven't noticed, he hasn't been in charge for over 2 years now! Granted, the country had it's problems when "the almighty Obama" took over, but it is really FUGGED UP now!!! And that you can't blame Bush for. It's a shame that you guys can't see Obama for the sharliton and crook that he is. I know it's hard to admit when you are wrong, but fellas please, man up and admit you chose the wrong pony!!!! If you are real Americans, you can't tell me that this is the direction you wanted the country to take!!!!!! And if it is, then in my book you are not real Americans, but rather a part of the festering disease that is trying to destroy this country!!!!!!!!! |

gbishop, we simply follow suit. Many of the conservatives out there wanted to blame Clinton for W's woes and give Reagan credit of Clinton's success, we have just decided to use the precedent when it comes to W and Obama. Besides, all the conservatives here on the board said that it takes at least 4 years for a new administration to have any real effect on things (although I think it was just to cover their azzes because W decided to go into an unjust war against a sovereign nation that had little to nothing to do with the attacks on 9-11 instead of hunting for those directly responsible, but I digress), so based on their own words, it's going to be Bush's fault until next year. As to Obama, he has taken this country in the direction I elected him to take it in. We needed health care reform and he has done it. Has he done everything right, no, but for the most part he is doing a pretty good job. You can claim that I am not a "real American," but luckily for everyone, you don't get to decide what is or isn't a "real American" and the arrogance to believe you do is overwhelming. As for really being "fugged up now" please expand on that. I would like to hear your opinion on how things are "fugged up."

His birth certificate and school records have no bearing on his policy. I am looking for policy examples of how he is "fugging up" this country. The problem is, it's only perceived by those who didn't want him (or any democrat) to be POTUS. It has little to nothing to do with his actual policy. What I find amusing is that conservatives assume that because of their bias, democrats are disillusioned with Obama. The funny thing is that conservatives seem to ignore the stuff that Obama ran on and accomplished so far and instead focus on anything they can to try and point out what Obama hasn't done. That's the blame game I see. On a similar note, I still have to laugh that any conservative would want to try and elect Trump. Liberals wanting Michael Moore for POTUS would be equally hilarious and sad to me. |

cent, could you, without posting links, actually list and expound on the accomplishments of Obama? I've only noticed that he pushed for and managed to get an unpopular health care bill passed, failed to actually create jobs ( people being rehired isn't the same as new jobs), hasn't controlled government spending, has financed businesses that provide a strong voting base for the Dems., expanded some social programs, failed ( luckily) to close Gitmo, failed ( again, luckily) to prosecute terrorists in civilian courts, stood by and neither he nor the Dems have proposed any viable program to cut the rate of inflation or cut the cost of petroleum products, actually helped increase the cost of gas by stopping US drilling, and the list goes on and on. I would be happy to hear about anything that he has done that is positive, other than helping the unions and the deadbeats who live off of welfare! |

Cent, you asked, here ya go. Promised to cut unemployment rate, not even close. Inflation under control?, where? All I see are prices for food and especially gas, going through the roof and he has yet to come up with a single plan to deal with it. He has managed to more than tripple the national debt in just 2 years, with more on the way! He has no plan to do anything to stop the devaluation of the dollar. He has basically declared war on Kadafi with out going through congress, but you libs don't see it as ,lets see what is the term you used?, oh yeah, an unjustified war (or something like that ). Of course if you were to use your reasoning the way you used it on Bush, that wouldn't suit your agenda now would it? And where is the "transparancy in his administration that he promised? All I see is a lot of cloak and dagger back room deals with anyone he thinks can help him get re-elected. And as for my so-called arrogance. I believe you left out the phrase "as far as I am concerned" which means that it is MY OPINION, which last time I checked, I am entitled to!!!! You liberals haven't taken that from us,....YET!!! You just seem to enjoy twisting things around to suit your own agenda! You can't twist B.S. and turn it into the truth, no matter how hard you try!!! Those of us with common sense will always see it for what it really is!!!!! |

Rt, here goes: -Expanded loan programs for Small Businesses -Gave 95% of working Americans a tax cut -Credit Card Bill of Rights -Closed what is known as the "donut hole" in the Medicare prescription drug plan -Health Care Reform including the provision that does not let insurers deny or discontinue coverage for a pre-existing condition and takes the caps off of lifetime benefits -Increased the VA Budget and fully funded the VA -Expanded VA "Centers of Excellence" in specialty care -Ended the war in Iraq -Repealed "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" -Increased funding for National Parks and Forests -Increased access for hunters and fisherman to land through the Open Fields Incentive program -etc, etc, etc. Now Holly, I can see you are ignorant when it comes to corporate tax rates, so you may want to do some research on the difference between corporate and personal tax rates. As for the claim about jobs/unemployment, the Obama administration has seen more jobs created in the last 12 months than Bush saw during his 2 terms. As for unemployment, it peaked at 10.2% nationally in October of 2009 and is now at 8.8% for March, so obviously we are coming out of the woods. While I agree that we're not back to the 4.9% level of January of 2008, things are improving. As for the "war with Gaddafi, I would really enjoy a descriptive explanation on how this is the same as the Iraq war. Please include how the U.N. resolution to attack Iraq which included a ground force invasion and the Arab League endorsement for actions against Hussein. |

If Obamy mammy is so great why don't he open up the gulf to drilling again? I know one reason and it stinks...every Gulf Coast Governor is a Republican. He's causing the USA to suffer for political reasons only. Drilling has been working for years and putting lots of people to work. If he'd open up the Gulf to drilling again the price of oil would start falling within a week. JMHO Papaw Jim |

Cent, what about spending? The most ever. What about gas prices? His policy is to force everyone "green" by driving up prices. As for who POTUS: Trump, no; moore, he77-no; Gov Scott Walker, YES.

Race of father was African... huuummmm, I believe Negro was the proper term back in 1961.
African is a continent not a race.... looks like a bunch of concocted BS to me. |

| "The BIG Lie"
The phrase was also used in a report prepared during the war by the United States Office of Strategic Services in describing Hitler's psychological profile:[5][6]
His primary rules were: never allow the public to cool off; never admit a fault or wrong; never concede that there may be some good in your enemy; never leave room for alternatives; never accept blame; concentrate on one enemy at a time and blame him for everything that goes wrong; people will believe a big lie sooner than a little one; and if you repeat it frequently enough people will sooner or later believe it.[7]

SW, typical tin foil stuff again. GAW, where was your outrage when Bush was spending us into the ground? g-faber, do you have anything to refute what I have posted or just personal attacks on me? If it's just personal attacks, that's fine, I'll just plan on that. holly, even if you incorporate, you may still have to pay personal income tax on the profits of the business depending on whether your are a C corp or an S corp. We are a C corp and I gladly and enthusiastically pay my fair share of taxes. The higher the taxes I pay means the better the business has done. It's a pretty simple equation. Papaw Jim, you may want to re-explore your statement. Drilling bans were lifted late last year and early this year. The problem isn't drilling, however, its refinery capacity and the fact that the gas companies control supply (as does OPEC, which we should eliminate), which renders supply and demand tainted in their favor, is the reason you are paying more at the pump. They want to blame the "greenies" for not allowing them to build more refineries, but with the exorbitent profits that the oil companies make ($7.2 billion in the first quarter alone for BP) they could build EPA approved refineries all day, every day. The problem is that they aren't that stupid because they know they control supply while demand rises. The "greenies" are a convenient excuse that conservatives like to take hook, line and sinker. |
