Posted By rjimenez on 11 Nov 2010 11:05 AM I like to know what you have gotten to test Patience! and ALOT of it. But I really don't care. These BB's and the magazines work well for me. I'm gonn see if I can go 30 years or so like rt and many others without getting anything. Like I said, I don't care. |

Getting "freebies" from the club is a lot like deer hunting. You hunt and hunt and hunt...looking for the big 'un...and hunt and hunt and them after maybe 10 or so years and so many more hunters to get the "stuff", the big one will pop up and you'll probably miss it, too. Anyone looking for a handout needs to go to the Salvation Army ... but you sometimes have to pay there too. Good luck....Papaw Jim |

In my 20 years with NAHC, I have received 3 things to test. First item was sticky tags to cover the bullet holes in targets when you are sighting in. Gave those a thumbs down as the colour was such that you couldn't see them properly from a distance back & the day I used them it was raining & the colour ran. Second thing was Topo maps, gave those a thumbs up & ordered more from the company for personal use. Third item was the funniest! Received bug juice (mosquito spray) in the beginning of January with instructions to have the test results back within 90 days. The bug juice worked great...there were no mosquitoes! But considering the fact that I live in Canada & we rarely see anything but cold & snow till late March, that was to be expected. lol |

Bug juice in January, that was about like my boot warmers in July here in AZ, temperature at the time, about 118. |

When you consider the NAHC has over 800,000 members, it's no surprise that many members never see a product to test. I consider myself very fortunate to have been picked to test products, 3 times no less. I may never see another test item again but that's OK with me. |

All I have got was a bill trying to charge me $9.99 for a book I never got NOR ordered....
I think from what my friends have told me they have got some book too but never paid for it because they never ordered it.
As far as "test" merchandise....that has to be a farce...just to get you to send your first "join" payment. NAHC has sent me enough junk mail with stickers, patches and CRAP they could have made a real nice magazine and not a magazine filled with **** I will never see.... |

hhmmmm I can't have been a member this long. joined in "92 and went lifer in '94 and then trophy in "10. I've tested some things. But the forums and the magazine have been what makes being a memeber worthwhile. Knowledge freely given by knowledgable folks in the forums keeps me coming back. Funniest thing i've been sent to test were hand and feet warmers in July. I know it gets cold up here in north Alberta but that was fun. Especially when they asked if the product kept my hands and feet warm. I said "for sure" as it was about 75 to 80 degrees out. Damn my feet were warm. Good hunting to all. |
|
| The .270Win. in a Remington 700 synthetic is the best all around caliber and rifle there is.I've taken elk moose deer antelope black bears and the odd grizzly. Damn fine rifle. |
