I know it has been a while since I have posted on here but thought I would give a little update. Caslin has been doing great. She will need to have foot surgery, but she is waiting till after hunting season. The surgery should be a minor one compared to her last foot surgery, but again it will be both feet at the same time. We leave on the 31st for an Elk hunt in Colorado. Caslin is the one that will be hunting and I will be her pack mule. She has an Bull, Cow and Mule Deer tag. This will be our first time out there and it will be on both Private and Public land. Roger the guy that helped her with most of the Bear baiting and Picked us up at night with his 4wheeler is the one that made this hunt possible. He has a cabin that we will be staying in out there. She is looking forward to the hunt and missing some school. Tom Gilbert of Gilberts Gun Exchange who built her Bear Gun has now built her an AR in 6.5 Grendel to use for this hunt. She took a Doe with it during the Youth season to break it in. She is actually in the contest here in the club with that doe. Here's the link for that
