I have been screwed twice by unions. It will never happen again. I am totally against these union and their strong arm tactics.
Been there and received that.

I'm sending a handsaw back that they sent me. Mainly because it was made in China, and it's nothing but a piece of junk that they want $20.00 for. I would come more likely to buy the products if they were made here.

Man I was begining to think that I was the only one that was upset with the Chinese made product pushed by this club with the complaints and inquiries I've made to the club faling on def ears, but it looks as if I am not alone. I think if this club wants to continue to prosper that they may do well to take heed and listen to the membership!!

It isn't just this company!!!!!! I tried to find a trail cam that is made in the USA, and the closest I could come up with had a statement on it that said "Made in China, under the strictest US standards". That was a first for me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

seems no matter where we go now days , obama has helped the import of chinese junk , and export of american industry to everyplace but here , and unions support him??????????  we support the club so they can afford to hunt while we wait for support from the club for our gun rights , for lands to be opened for hunting or purchased for hunting , where is our support from this club?
and the inside track advocating that the single men  look for land rich ladies to marry or live with that will support their hunting habits , what are they thinking of ?? we want women as hunters here , this is like a slap in the face of women , do they think women are that in need of a man as to afford him land to hunt on just to have him around ??
the poll on what your most afraid of returning home to when you come off a hunting trip is the grumpy hunting widow , number 1
on the poll , thats not funny boys , she will make you single and to poor to hunt if your not careful

The future of hunting is dependent on the increasing numbers of women and kids who are getting involved. No way should either of those groups be discouraged from participation whether it's a joke or not!!!!!!! Just remember lionsshare1, the NAHC DOES NOT actively fight for our gun rights!!!!!!!

I've been hunting, fishing and hiking for many years through out North America and in many parts of South America. In recent years it has been nothing less than frustrating. Let me explain. I have tried to outfit a few newcomers to outdoor activities and have only come across equipment that is of extreme cost and quality that is so low I should be getting paid to take it. In my delusional world, I thought that in joining the NAHC I would be helping to support quality hunting and future hunters in America. I have only come to find my search for quality and support for the American hunter is still ongoing. The NAHC no longer needs to send anything to me, because from what I have received to this point the club is only supporting itself and the US Postal Services.

Once upon a time, in a land called America, there were two folks with the last name of Burke. They started a little organization and named it the North American Hunting Club. A few years later, they sold out to a publishing company, who then got bought out by an investment firm, and after about 4 or 5 different ownership groups, a BRITISH company ended up owning the "CLUB". About three years ago, the Brits divested the "Club" and their other membership organizations to another ownership group named the North American Membership Group! Now go down to the bottom of the page and look at all of the affiliates who are owned by this mega-conglomerate, and find me anything that actually resembles a club, much less anyone of them that promotes, provides, sells, or in any manner whatsoever has anything to do with anything North American, other than the fact those two adjectives are used in the name!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You know the way i look at it is dont blame the club as the goverment thinks that it should tax the businesses out of the USA .And then you have the UNIONS that think even the people sweeping the floors in a factory should be makeing 25.00 dollars an hour and has drove all the jobs over seas .Very few items are made here anymore for those reasons .And until we get rid of the over taxing goverment and the over paid UNIONS you will have to start living with it .

Sorry that i feel that way but it is the truth.

Well bricky I can say that the UNIONS have not put food in my mouth .As it was a UNION that put the screws to me .I have been retired sense 1999 .And the unions had nothing to do with it .I just hope your UNION will pay you 4,000.00 a month as i draw each month .This was done on my part and I DID NOT NO UNION DUES FOR IT .I was fired buy a company that was union because of a work related accident .When i filed a complaint they told me to keep my mouth shut .And when I filed my complaint with OSHA I got fired .They did not wont me to mess up their injury statistic .Then I went to the company next door and went to work in a NON UNION SHOP for more money and better insurance .And instead of 1 weeks vacation i got 2 weeks and when i left i was getting 4 weeks vacation ..That was in 1977 .So the UNIONS only screwed me .And dose your union garraenty you my retirement .

Unions might have been a good thing at the turn of the century, but the days of their usefulness has long ago passed. Why should anyone be forced to pay money in order to work? That's criminal coercion any way you look at it. Why is it that right to work states, like South Carolina are harassed and sued in efforts to deny jobs to folks who do not want to be unionized? The unions pushed for laws and regulations that increased the minimum wage and supported NAFTA; both of which have driven companies to cease manufacturing in this country and turn to overseas markets. The union leaders, as a result, are living off of the sweat of union member's labor and stealing the income of those laborers in order to live fat cat wealthy life styles and support the socialiazation of our country by the Democrats and this fuggin' idiot we have in the White House!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I worked Union and non-union both for a number of years before I got sick. I was union at the time I got sick and requested a withdrawl for health reasons ( I had Cancer). The union health insurance did NOTHING for me, the insurance from my military career paid for my treatments. NOT the VA here but Tri-Care. The Va said I had Brochitus for 4 months. Left to them, I would be dead. Left to the Union and I would be dead. When I requested the withdrawl, I was denied it because I was 34 hours short of being fully vested. The membersip even voted at the meeting about it but the higher ups refused it and refused to let me work out the 34 hours as well.
The folks IN the union are some of the best folks I have worked with. They took up a collection on their own and sent it to the house for for Christmas. THAT was from the members and not the union itself.
YES, the unions have a place, maybe NOT what they are doing now but in taking care of the members FIRST.

Brian, I don't believe those folks did what they did for you out of any thing to do with the union, but out of love and respect for you, a fellow worker who had been screwed over by the system and the union bosses. I would imagine, that even if those people and you were not members of a union, but simply co-workers, they would have been just as generous and caring towards you, Miss Kathy, and your family!

I agree, they did because they were GOOD folks. No one put them upto it, they did it on their own. The Union on the other hand did everything it could to get out of meeting the obligations it had agreed to when I joined, even to the point of not letting me take jobs when they were there and I was still able to work for fear of my reaching the hour for full vesting.
