THANKS TO ALL VETERANS TODAY AND EVERY DAY! THIS DAY IS TO COMMEMORATE THOSE WHO PAID THE ULTIMATE PRICE. I am also a 100% disabled vet. Diagnosed with MS in 1995. I don't follow the form much. I still manage to get out to hunt and fish in the Gulf with assistance. |

Is your state cheap ? LOL, what I mean is some states allow vets to hunt and fish without having to buy permits, unlike Missouri, our state lets you fish for free (except for game fish like trout), and you do not have to buy a small game permit, but you still have to buy all of the others (like deer, turkey, game bird stamps, trout stamps, etc..) So what benefits does your state allow you if you are disabled ? |

disabled vets with 70% + in TX get all their tags free (deer, turkey small game, fresh & salt water fishing) It's a great state for the vets. We were on CO for 10 yrs and don't get much of anything there even though I love hunting elk there but the season is too limited especially for those of us too disabled to get out constantly |

Here you go pledge1 I can't find a way to make this link work so I will just post the info for New Jersey hunting: And for hunters looking for a place to hunt, New Jersey offers more than
750,000 acreas of public land (state, federal, county and municipal)
available to the deer hunter. Visit the Public Deer Hunting Land page http://www.state.nj.us/dep/fgw/huntland.htm
for a breakdown of state Wildlife Management Areas, state parks and
state forests by Deer Management Zone. The page also has links for maps
and information on hunting land. For more information visit: http://www.state.nj.us/dep/fgw/deer...#harvests. |

Disabled vet here in Pa. Have PTSD and the hearing is pretty much gone but I can still get out to hunt. It can be a real pain when the critters sneak in from behind. Glad to hear other vets belong to the club. I was with the 101st Airborne unit in Nam 70-71 |
