keep pluggin' away.I missed 3 different doe on opening day,1 was really close,but then the 2nd day was awesome,took the 9 point.

tried some maxi hunters yesterday. they seemed to produce a decent group for me at the yardage I'm hunting at. so, i'll give er a whirl

Them smokepoles can be finnicky at times.

At times!!? How bout all the time lol the maxi hunters seem to work ok. I'll have to remember to really take time and play with it this summer when the weather is a little more reasonable

I'm sure you're aware to shoot when its cold out because it will affect where your bullet hits, it definatly did too mine. I've been thinking about trying the speer deep curl bullets. I've heard good things about.them and seen pictures of the damage they do to the vitals, awesome!

Thanks Jermy,i know how ya feel.I haven't been able to muzzleload for a few.With the holidays ,weekends are busy for me,come from a big family,always a gathering going on.But this year everything worked out to where i can hunt weekend before xmas and weekend before new years.Good luck to all .

I agree, we need snow. Headed up to Traverse City next week for work... hoping to find some fresh back straps too!
