Happy New Year everyone, hope it was a good and safe one for you. If you want to get a bit fired up, take a look at the hunter pics on the Somerset paper's webpage: I think I'm going to LIKE Somerset. I'll take some Jim Beam tonight, chase away the chill. Round on me, Dale |

Just got the 'puter back last night. Before the Dell guy came to install the new parts, I took my 'puter to a friend of mine to back up all the pictures and Apps. After the repair, I took it back to my friend to reinstall everything, which he did. It seems to be working AOK.....so far. The ultrasonic test results were excellent, no blockage. Next is the Cardiologist on wed, if my ticker is OK, the surgery will be just around the corner. Wish it was over with so I could concentrate on spring turkey coming up. Or better yet, decide what powder/bullets to |

Not sure what happened with the above reply, it just loaded by itself. tried to edit but that wouldn't work. Anyway, I decided to reload some 35 Rem brass I've collected through the years from the two 336C Marlins we've been using on and off for the last 40 years. I have 125 casings cleaned, trimmed, and primed. I have never reloaded 35 Rems. I have the dies from my older brother's reloading days. Need to select both powder and bullets. I'm thinking about trying the new Hornady powder and their Flex tip 200 grn bullets. I'll be checking the internet for some info. Any helpful hints will be appreciated. Thanx for the New Years and Birthday wishes' Now it's time for an OLD#7/ginger for me, and a round for the bar. |

Just be careful with setting your dies, there isn't a whole lot of shoulder to work with on case, you can mess it up and have headspace and or chambering issues. Dale |

Snake, I got an email from shovel about a week ago, it was just a joke that he forwarded. I replied and asked how he was doing but haven't heard anything since.
Looks like it's gonna be an icy night in Somerset, better have something to put a little fire in the belly. Shooter of Jim Beam and a beer chaser for me and a round for whoever stops in.

Dk, well I hope shovel's medical problems are solved. Wonder why he doesn't stop in the cantina? If you send him another e-mail, do me favor and tell him I was asking about him. It's cold and icy back here in Pine Grove so a shooter or two of OLD#7 should warm me up, think I'll skip the ginger ale tonight, and chase the Mrs. around the house. Belly up, I'm buying. |

Good Morning Everyone, coffee for me, I have to drive to Somerset this afternoon. Anyhow, I heard from Shovel yesterday, he's still dealing with his neck/back/headache issues. But at least he's alive and kicking. He has some good news to share too but I won't steal his thunder on that. I told him we missed him around here and to stop by. Dale |

Thanx for the info dk, am looking forward to hear from shovel and the good news. Finally Natchez Shooting Supplies e-mailed me that they got Hornady 200grn RN bullets in stock. Should have them wed or thurs. I'm scheduled for that aneurysm surgery on the 19th, so I will probably wait until that's over with until I stuff them in the casings. Time for a plate of Garlic Wings, a game of pool with Cindy-san. and double of OLD#7/ginger. Next round is on the snake. |

Heck, you (we) got off lucky, I think the record is about 9 duplicate posts I picked up some 200 gr spire points for m 358 Win the other day and miracle of miracles, they had some 55 grainers for the 223 also. Local shop that was one of the first to pull out of the Eastern Sports show so I figured they needed some of my hard earned money. Plus they are giving away an AR.
Good deal all around, they get money, I get bullets and a chance to win a rifle.

Some strange things happen on this site. I still can't figure out how our Posts are counted, or why I haven't received a product to test in 10 yrs......strange. Last product I received was one (1) packet with a 4x4 in. insect repellent wipe. I got it in Jan., prime season for insects. Guess they took offense to my critique. I shouldn't complain cuz it's bet r than nuttin.

Hello Gents! I found that it has been a very hard to deal with the neck problems and concidering a career change though I don't want to because of the benifit plan that I have as well as pension plan. They tell me that I have three buldged disc and one herniated disc in my neck that after 5 doctors tell me that there is nothing that they can do for it being all arthridic. I figured I would just go back to work and rip it up to give them something to fix. I just wrote down the web ID for the ad at the bottom of the page for wilkins spinal. Well fellars have a cold one on the shovel and good luck on the spring hunt. Shovel |

OH!!!!!!!! Hey Guys I forgot to include the best news I have had in 2 years... I am a grandfather of a baby boy so I guess we have to add another to the long list of fellow hunter.......in a few years that is. He was born 4# 4oz. and is over 8# now he won't see the DR. until next week.I will say he has grown alot. of course he didn't have big swimming pool brfore he started breathing air, so I guess he took advantage of stretching out once he came out. Everything seems very healthy and he is giggling and laughing at 7.5 weeks. Another cool thing is, his birthdate 1/31/13, the only other time I have seen those numbers was in March 3/13/13 and coming up is 3/31/13. So I guess that is a magic number. Shooters on me now Shovel |

Hey Shovel, Good to hear from you, you finally get unburied from the white stuff? Good news on the little one, wish I could offer you more than 'hang in there' on your neck issues. Dale |

Hello Gents and Ladies. You will never guess what news I got just the other day......... I am going to be a grandfather once again. The child is due at the end of December. The first one is only 5 months old, so that son and daughter-inlaw of mine better make sure they can support 2 kids. My son is working construction and his wife is only working a couple days a week as a secretary. I worked for one of the Governers cabinet secretaries yesterday whome I have known for many years and have worker for him before doing landscape gardening. I planted 300 geraniums for him and got paid in advance (cash). I certainly don't mind working for millionairs. I had to put a new driveway in over at the fam due to an idiotic ajoining property owner. The former drive I used had 200 feet that was owned by him and he was shutting it down land locking me and another ajoining property owner ,which she litigated it and suppoedly won but the idiot is apealing it. It would have cost me more to do that than it would have to build the new drive. Now I have to fix up my bridge with some new decking until I can get the money to put a steel beam and open grate bridge in. Well that's the news from the shovel's life, you all have a great day and enjoy the spring weather we are having, Oh! and have a cold one on me today. Shovel |
