Why Thank ya Bama! What a sweet thing to say. I'm going to have to change out pics tho...hunting season and all ya know! ;) Thanks for the drink too! Ok Guys....I SMELL a BUCK!!!! Who's hiding it????? I'm ready to fix up some tenderloin with mashed taters, homestyle country white gravy, vegetables or salad (or both) and some nice thick country biscuits. For dessert, I'll have a good ole fashioned Apple Cobbler with some fresh apples I just got. The first one to bring me a Buck gets their choice of dessert just for them! ;) Don't have to share if ya don't want to! Ok...so who's got the Buck?? Pamela

Also, Still Learning Honey, if you'd like me to shrink down your Avatar pic to a more avatar size....so management doesn't crawl on your butt...email it to me at dpgraham@wildblue.net and I'd be more than happy to shrink it for you...without deleting anything off it. LMK Pamela

Actually Still Learning, go to any of these links, and you can download your smaller version. I captured your pic from here and did it already. Just right click on the picture and save as to your hard drive where ever you keep your pictures. Hey Miss Pamela, The "Hey Buddy, Can You Spare a Buck or Two" is a good one. I liked that one. They were all good! Deer season starts Saturday here. The yard might need mowing and the fence might need mending, but that will have to wait!! Here's a round of drinks for you, all the Newbies and the regulars!! Miss Pam, tell your brother a "BIG THANK YOU" from myself and family, who appreciates what he does for our Country. I wish I could buy him a KEG of beer : ) Where is that ole Griz? Ed, you out there? Kantuck done went internet not??? MIKEY Mike Gessner Life Member NAHC NRA Camo Coalition of Georgia |

Pam, liked them all but the saying on the flag was my favorite. I have two cousins over and have had a few other friends and other family member over seas. I really feel for the conditions that they are living and fighting in. I just wish more people like the ones here on the BB would support them. After all they are fighting for our freedom and some even voluntered (sp?) to be over there, because they believe that is what is right. Your flag just sums it all up in not so many words. I would have to say my 2nd favorite is the do you have a buck to spare. God bless our troops. |

Thank you all for the comments which I will take as compliments. I wrote the poem that is with the old fashioned looking flag one night when I was online here and catching a bunch of....grief, I will say. There are all the naysayers who simply won't believe how horrible our Soldiers are being treated. I've since found many other Military persons and many sites of retired officers who are speaking out. Good for them!! And one I found this morning clearly points out how they are not paying our Military when they come home injured and several people they tried to pin the 'cowardice' label on and have them....executed as a person who commited a treasonace (sp) act, when in fact it was PTSD and not cowardice at all! My brother should be released....they say now...looking towards end of Nov or December. Our local paper has been 'investigating' things over the past several weeks and is supposed to have an article this week or next on it. (We only have a once weekly paper, does that tell you how rural we are? lol) I will certainly give my Brother your thanks. My Brothers are my heros. Someone mentioned that some of the troops fighting over there volunteered for it, yes, that is true. My eldest Brother, the one we lost on Valentine's Day, volunteered. Now...on to happier subjects. Belly up to the bar guys, drinks on me. Got some fresh hot apple pie, best you've EVER had, I guarantee!! Got some more cheesecake for our cheesecake lovers. And for those Chocolate lovers....fudge topped brownies. (Yes, we have homemade vanilla ice cream for with the pie, brownies, or plain if you'd like.) :D ~Till later Oh...hey....before I go, I wanted to ask, has anyone seen or does anyone have this Hunting Secrets book, and do you like it? Click Here to see it It sounds very interesting, and the price isn't bad really. Pamela, When I said that some of the soldiers over seas volunteered to be there, it was not meant to be a bad thing. My aunt's boyfriend thought that was want he needed to do. He needed to be over there fighting for his country. It is these men and women that I think need even more support from us as well as all of those that are over there away from their famlies. I am sorry to hear about your brother. Like I said before I did not mean it out of disrespect for our troops. Pray every chance you get for our troops that are both over seas in war zones as well as here at home because you never know when something else might happen. |

Franklin, don't worry, if you upset me in any way....you will DEFINATELY know it! ;) You didn't upset or offend me in any way, I was just putting in my 2 cents that yes, people do volunteer. Hey Mikey, thanks for the drink. Weather is cooling off considerably and tonight we had 3 new does in the doe group that came up. On the trail cam we have 3 new totally awesome bucks! Really unique looking racks. The smallest is a 10 point, and body wise is so big he makes our massive 8 pointer look like a chihuahua!! BIG bucks! I can't wait till they start coming out in the day time. They are already getting rut neck going too. Big Thick Muscular looking thick necks, and oh, did I mention they are getting THICK rut necks? lol See you guys soon! Pamela
