Thanks and congrats to everyone and luck to rest....I have been out with the new cross bow...nothing...and what a PITA...sorry...but really can't wait to get out with the Venture for late archery...held off on gun until tomorrow...had deer from the guys at camp to cut up...they got 2 doe...but will be out tomorrow morning with the shot gun one last time...this warm then cold warm that cold has been a real drag this year...and when it's cold...it's been crazy cold....like walking on broken glass with the frost heave...spooked 6 deer under my stand going in the other day.... |

Unfortunately I can only shoot a doe during late archery? They are MORE difficult than bucks! LOL!  |

We closed the cabin up yesterday,saw 2 doe Saturday or should I say saw 2 tales and that was it.Not gonna make it out any more this year too busy at work.Good luck to all. |

Well, took a doe for the last day of the gun season. Still have tags left, so tomorrow I'll sit in my ground blind in the State Park and try for a buck I saw early season. The park is archery only and not a lot of pressure.
Barkeep, a round for everyone, please?? Good luck for late season.... |

Hey all, Back in the state- got out for a two days of rifle...didnt see a thing..well couple of squirrels. Glad to see some of the old gang still comes in....Thanks for the updates... Hope you all have a very merry safe Holiday season!

I went out this morning at a beautiful spot with 3 crossing trails leading a crick bottom and saw nothing? Not even the birds were singing and only 2 squirrels spotted? Dang it was quiet? OH ya, I froze my butt off too! |
