When I was a kid and it got that cold, we would clear the snow off frozen ponds and bait them with carrots....put a lot of black pepper on the carrots....the wabbits would eat the peppered carrots, start sneezing, hit their nose on the ice and bleed to death....we just picked them up the next morning.....

I guess I should start the neibor kids on that ritual...

How are things down in Caifornia?

I'm holding my own. At least I did get to hunt this year. Took a whitetail buck and a mature 5x5 bull elk in Idaho.
