Looks like a couple of cool rainy days ahead of us. Then clear and warmer for the weekend. Grass is going to grow for sure. I better stock up on my beer so I can get it all cut Saturday. Momma's day is Sunday. A dozen long stemed "guy" flowers = 12 pack of longneck beers.
Hunting and fishing stories in progress. Boots may be required. |

Morning All.It sure looks as tho we will be getting more rain VK, man what a difference a few miles makes, went to Tallapoosa yesterday and the corn is up all along 60 east of Dexter and south on 153 toward Risco, saw some cotton poping out, some farmer also had rice coming up, they haven't had the rain there that we've had here. wheat all over also. Don't know if any one would be interested but Willis Auction Service has an Auction Saturday close to Ellsinore amongst everything there are 3 Bro' shotgun's 1 A-5 16ga, Bro' silver hunter 3.5 chamber 12ga, Bro A-5 2.75 chamber 12ga, Benn' 3in 20ga Med' New, L.C.Smith 12ga side by side made tween 1892-1913 real good, New Rem's 700's 243, 270, 30.06 and 7mm like new, 1 Tikka-3-30.06 New, 1 Tikka-3- 22-250 like new and a few other arms. I think you can get all the details at www.hwillisauction.com I tried that address and it works just click on ( view image link ) at bottom left and pic's of just about everything comes up later. Good morning ALL. Time to start a new week . Maybe it will warm back up this week. Better get those shot guns cleaned up after the turkey hunt. Get out the lawn mowers . The grass is going crazy. Have fun. duckhunter578 Old Hunters Never Die,They Just Run Out of AMMO |

Morning All. I hope everyone has a Great week, sure could use some warm sunshine around here for a few day's but don't think mom nature is gonna come thru for a while so says the weather man anyway. Seem as tho the high water in Mingo is receding, and the same goes for Wappapello, Heck they may have all the Campgrounds open by Memorial weekend there if we don't get any great bunch of rain up north. later. Snider from SEMO. |
