Morning All.

Hello VK, have you been to Duck Creek lately, last time I was there just to look around they had it full of water and I didn't see an awful lot of the moss or what ever that is they call it up there, they may have put some more of the stuff that kills it over more of the lake for this year since it helped out where it had been put in before, any way it sure did look better where the entrance is.

Hope every one has a GOOD last week of spring Turkey season and finds a boat load of mushrooms to boot.  later.

Good afternoon folks!

You're not going to see a bunch of moss and weeds just yet at Duck Creek.  Give it a couple more months and the water temps go up, then the weeds will be there.  I've done a lot of fishing there, just never cought the biggun.

Good morning ALL. Mohunter32 you are right. The warmer it gets the more moss and weeds we will see in Duck Creek. Did they go ahead and put the alligator gar in Duck Creek.

Morning All.

I don't think you will see the moss and stuff till around July because of the deeper water they have now, besides the chemical they also have put in there, and yes they put all except three in monoply lake, can't remember where they put the other three, the fish were all three pounder's too, some of them may have gotten out because of the record high water they had here at Mingo tho, seem's as tho there was about a hundred or more that they released, they had pictures in the paper here but my memory doesn't recall the exact number's.

Saw some pic's of some 14 and 15 inch crappie an older couple caught there a few year's back they had a stringer full of those babies. supposedly they were fishing up on the wooded end of the lake.
