I know what you mean about the Flood...My house became a motel Tuesday. Some of the guys I work with live out your way..We had 10 inches of rain and Cape had 13....The guy that drowned (Thurman Shelton) near Woodland School I worked with about 10 years ago.. Hope things are getting better.. I live on a lake north of Jackson and it was lapping on the edge of my patio...

Morning All. Hey VK, A Friend and I went to Zalma day before yesterday they had, had 26 inches of water in the Rustic, The Castor is down to almost normal flow now, the Gen Store on the other side of the river was covered with water at the same time the Rustic was along with a bunch of other houses also, man there was a heck of a lot of water coming down there then I guess, they opened Duck creek back up that day also, water had been over the road there too, water was still over 51 bout 1 mile north of Puxico because they weren't letting out that much from Mingo, Fella who has the bait store there at duck creek said they were pumping water into a new lake they made west of the job corp entrance, he works for MDC or USFW there. Dang there was bout 10 fellas bow fishing from the highway and small field there at Idlewild. The COE's are letting 10,000 cubic feet out of Wappapello it is going down slooowly.Later.
