Sorry that I didn't get to see you this trip on account of time running out. Did get my Tom the opener after the rain/flood the day before! Every thing was sopping wet and the birds were quiet. Managed an invite for deer season on some fabulous farm land and pumped now after receiving my white tail NR license yesterday!! :-) Maybe this year I will be lucky and get a big Kansas buck. Tag soup is lousy to eat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

KANSAS!!! Only 5 more long months to think about a Big Kansas Kauhana!! :-)

It's that time again!! FINALLY!!! Heading over to the Pruitt Ranch (Michigan Valley) on the 12th for a few days! Hope to see you, Mr. Sumner!!!! :-)

A beautiful warm fall day spent in the blind but saw no deer!!  Lots of snorting when I walked in at 0600 hrs in the dark but that was all!  Will give 'er a try again in a couple of days!  Today is football day for me!!!  GO PACK GO!!

Never made it to Kansas as Bette took a fall from a ladder and really did a job on her wrist/arm. Had a plate put in and still in a cast and I came down with broncitios(sp?)  How to make it in the spring for turkeys and in the fall for deer.   Also a trip in a couple of months to pick up my oinker at the Pruitts(Overbrook)  Will let you know!!

Some day are trails will cross!! Was over at Larned not too long ago and my friends daughter lives in Dodge. She took us over to Boot Hill and the Saloon! Couldn't find Miss Kitty tho! Take care!..............Bill

Was in Osage City to pick up ground corn  with my friend for his critters on Tuesday and then eo Williamsburg at Guy and Maaes for their BBQ ribs!!  They sure are good!!

Got my turkey on Wednesday morning...I never in my life saw so many birds at one morning sitting in a blind.  I took pictures of a bunch right in amongst my decoys for proof!!  WOW!!  What a fun time and also picked up my hog from the Pruitt's at Santa Fe Meat Market.  Three coolers full!!  Good eating!  :-)

Hope you have a good hunt Bill,I am off this wk,going to take the grandson on his first turkey hunt this wk.I have to leave on the 7th for Fort Dodge,Iowa for work,dont know when I will be home next,Spent last 6wks in Neb. and 8 mo.in N.D. before that,I am looking for a local job,but not much around.Well have a good hunt,and we will meet someday. Good luck to you and your Grandson.  Hope the weather is nice for ya'll.  The job market is slow but the oil fields are hiring, I've been told.  Hope to meet up in the future.
