Speaking of pineapple, made a batch of pineapple/fruit punch wine a several years ago. One thing I learned, when you ferment all the sugar out of a pineapple, the remaining flavor can be less than wonderful. Added sugar and let it age a year.. It is actually quite good now, has a really big kick. Runs about 30 proof. I call it Island Fever. If they would allow me to carry toxic substances on airplanes, I would bring you a bottle when we come to the big island. You have to be careful, it's so sweet you don't realize how stout it is until you go to stand up and wobble as you walk across the room

I do that now 45 hahahaha

45, that is funny. And sad, as I have seen Jeff walk -- and wobble (or waddle) is accurate.

I am sitting here, enjoying a cold one, thinking that "Dang, it was hot today" and then I think of the members of the Armed Forces that face true heat (and firefights) and am ashamed that I am brazen enough to complain. This one is for the soldiers that have gone, are there, and will go so I can enjoy my freedom.
