Got the boat ready and am trying to get some more decoys made before I get swamped with hunting...dove and goose opens in a little over a week. I am getting excited.

Yep Dove opens sept 1st... Going to be a great season this year we had a good hatch Birds everywhere... SJWA is looking really good they have made some great improvements... I'll be hunting the fed areas down by wister most of the time. I got about 2 dz ducks from that area last year..

That said Kekoa pour me one of those tasty island drinks...

Gordy, nice to see you around here.  Where do you plan to hunt dove?

man those drinks were gooooodddddd.... and some kick A pork as well.. set up another round of drinks Kekoa. To hot for me to be hunting right now.. The doves were flying down by the saltin sea. Poor Ron got shot in the leg by some kid. he's ok though.. Putting your kid out there unsupervised is nothing short of dumb.
Bow season opens tomorrow but it still to hot 114 today here in hemet... I"ll be out for archery deer and qual next week in the mean time Kekoa another drink I need to keep cool until I head up the Mt.. OH YEAH !!!!

JD, sorry you were empty handed.  But, at least you got outside...

Gordy, when do you QUAL for archery?  I think  you meant quail, but just had to highlight it.

Yeah typo; quail is open for archery now along with archery deer.. I just came off the mt above Hemet was riding my mt bike saw lots of dove and quail a couple of deer tracks just above the citrus groves. Didn't get to where I wanted blew out both front and back tires had to come down... It was a nice 15 mile ride one way though.. AND NOW kekoa some more cold ones I'm ready !!!!!!

At least yall are able to go out and enjoy hunting during the week. We hunt Saturdays and Sundays and holidays only on Public lands here. Gordy sounds like you need to loose some weight???? hummmm both tires? yeah. Diet bro. hahahaha John. I'll have another one just like the other one.... Was out with my bow last week saw about 34-40 dove (in season) Just as many quail archery closed on the 10th. (only had BH w/me) at the time. one doe and a young buck couldn't tell if he was a shooter... archery is open until the 29th so I still have time. Football todat.. GOOOoooo Packers...
