rt that ad was just on the right side of my facebook page right under the you might know these people and like this page crap. Saw it a second time and to be technical it does not state you WILL get items to test. The wording is join and get items to test, which many might think = will get stuff to test. My mistakes hopefully will lessen after the morphine is no more.

Believe me, I wasn't questioning you, I just had not ever seen the ads, so had no idea of what they might say these days.

I gave up FB but did to look after reading this. not there on mine. I assume you mean in the "Sponsored" area... I use adblock with firefox so I never see ads anyhow, but I turned that off and crap did pop up - not the nahc site. I think those things change periodically but not sure 'cause I've used adblock for so long I don't remember.

ive been a member since sept of 2012. i was told i would get a hunting knife and a cook book for joining but im still waiting grrrrrrrr. they sent a book on elk hunting that i didnt order which i paid for but i just want the stuff i was promised. if i dont get it i will not re subscibe to this club. any one else had this problem?

Okie dokie then...I guess ill get this one.Bobbals...checck it out.If you didnt recieve the freebies that were offered to you, then go to the end of the page and contact "NAHC"If the company sends you something and you didnt order it... just dont open it, and write (return to sender). This will help you and not getting charged for the item.This a great place to be if you want information for hunting, other than that , its a corporation.These peeps want money. There is several ways to get the best out of this place. You just have to have patience.....Others will come in here, to help you with more useful information that I can give. Stick with it, you will like it.

used to be you filled out the field test form and about a year later you got something to test. Now you have to go to another site and fill out "offers" and surveys to earn points which, when you earn enough points, you can trade them to field test an item of your choice. I don't have time to spend filling out surveys constantly, or subscribe to lots of worthless, email filling, sales sites in order to field test items. So, I guess my field testing days from NAHC, NAFC are done until they change it back.

My turn guys - but I'll keep it short an to the point.

Talk about clueless. You want the old one back? unbelievable - SS is NOT all that difficult and works about 100000% better!

Stick around and put out a minimal amount of effort... you may be surprised what you get back when you're willing to participate.

mobe, you don't have to fill out any surveys, you absolutely do not have to subscribe to anything, and there are no e-mail filings, or sales sites to visit in order to field test. Where in the hell, did you get those asinine ideas????????????? The facts are that as a member of the NAHC and the NAFC, you also filled out a user profile for the old field testing programs. SS, isn't one iota different in that respect. What is a plus, is that as all of the "clubs" under the NAMG are added to the program, you get the added benefit of completing the surveys for each of those organizations as well. This adds 5 points for each profile, right there is an automatic 20 points on top of your membership in the NAHC and NAFC points. If you are a life member of both of them, and complete all of the profiles, you automatically are sitting with a minimum of 40 points. Then, just as with the old program, once you get an item (there are a lot of them available for 25 points and 10 points each), you do a field test report on that item, and get all of the points spent, returned, plus additional points for completing the mandatory (again, exactly as it was under the old system) report!

But, hell, if you don't participate, that's your business, and that leaves more opportunities for those of us who do............so by all means don't sign up, don't participate, and convince your buddies to do the same. That way the rest of us will be in a better position to get more items!!!!!!!!!!

Yes finally made 200 points .Maybe they will send me something to test .

I have to laugh again. I received notification that SS can't verify my posts here and on the social pages, again! I just don't understand why any of my review posts made on either one of the NAHC sites, is always the ones that can't be verified!!!!!!!!!! I'll have to contact Katie again, to get 'em straight.

YES....I paid 10/30/12 and still NOTHING, thought the Whitetail Wisdom book was the free one, nope, have to send it back

called and complained today, they said it was on back order 30 days, told him it was 3 MONTHS, didn't care, ok

is that all!   yep, call my credit company and  challenged the charge!

I received an e-mail from Katie. It seems that webbie Shawn forwarded my previous post to her, and she has gotten part of the problem fixed. As I told her, now that I'm well above the level 6 minimums, I'm not really worried about the points; and I place the blame on the NAHC.....not SS for the URL problems. After all, I get the address from the top right corner of the page, and that is the URL that I copy and post on SS for the links to my reports.

BTW, Shawn, glad to know you're still looking in every now and then!!!!!!! I was wondering if you were still lurking around, or if you had moved on to greener pastures!

I have to say I have not been a member very long. Lifelong hunter though. I joined and signed up to test gear and just recieved the two man Rigid Whitetail hunting blind complete with quadpod kit delivered to my house. I have to say that is a very big piece of equip to test. I have just completed install and I hope they do not want me to send in review until I can hunt out of it later this year.

WHY WATE TILL NEXT YEAR TO GO TEST IT !! GET OUT THERE AND USE IT COYOTE HUNTING OR JUST USE IT AND TAKE SOME PICTURES  OF GAME WHEN YOUR IN IT.. THAT IS A TEST..  COME ON GETTER DONE LIKE LARRY SAY'S.. I HUNT FOR EVERYTHING AND HUNTING IS OPEN ALL YEAR FOR COYOTES.. RETIRED USMC SNIPER , LM NAHC , LM DU , LM NRA , LM NATIONAL MATCH SHOOTERS ASSC.  SEMER FI..

I TO BLAME THE URL PROBLEMS ON THE NAHC .. I FOUND OUT THEY ARE THE MAIN PROBLEM WITH THE URL TROUBLE.. IT'S GREAT THAT SOMEONE ELSE IS ON MY SIDE WITH THE{1}**** FROM NAHC PROBLEMS.. THANK YOU   RT..  I HAVE GOT MANY EMAIL'S FROM SS OVER MY URL POSTING'S  AND TOLD THEM WHERE , I POSTED THEM BUT THEY STILL CAN'T FIND THEM ON THE URL'S THAT , I TOLD THEM WHERE, I POSTED THEM.. SO, I DID SOME CHECKING MY SELF THROUGH MY JOB AS A FEDERAL OFFICER AND FOUND MANY PROBLEM'S WITH THE URL POSTING..   AND IF THE WEB MASTER WANT'S SOME REAL PROBLEM'S , I CAN HELP HIM BY USING MY FEDERAL JOB AND SHUT HIM DOWN FOR GOOD.. I've been a life member since 1997.  After reading about some of the stuff the vlub was sending lifers.  I realized that I hadn't gotten them.  I contacted the club asking if I could still get them.  I got an immediate response in my emails saying i would get them in 7 to 10 days.  I really wasn't worried about getting them.  I figured that I hadn't missed them all this time.  I got them in 5 days.  I get them magazines on time.  Before SS.  I got a few items to test.  You cry babies want to cry about something so little.  I haven't had a chance to hunt in Texas since my wife and I moved here 4 years ago.  I think everyone probably knows why.  It doesn't bother me any.  I drive to Arizona to hunt.  Before we left.  I got my lifetime hunting licence.  Since we own property there. I can still get a resident tag.  Its cheaper to drive there and hunt than it is to hunt in Texas.  I like the info I get from other members.  There are a lot of good  people on these sites that are always very glad to help.  THere is always people joking.  If you don't have a thin skin, and can go with it.  Thats a really sorry reason to join the club.  What am I going to get out of it?  I think I mentioned a couple things.  I almost forgot.  We have GT's all the time.  Those are fun.  I did a few of them in Arizona with other members.  If your traveling.  You can stop at other members homes en route if they know and you have the addy.  My front door is always open for a member that would like to stop by. So, I think that who ever is crying about not getting what they joined for needs to stop.  I had on one occasion gotten a book that I didn''t order, and a book that was supposed to be a freebee.  I got a bill for each of them.  I sent them back with a short letter.  Never had any more trouble.  When I get back to Arizona after we retire.  Just a few more years.  Like 5 or 6.  I plan on starting to get the test items.  I'll have the time to do it then.  I have to admit that I do agree with the one post from Alaska.  The timing on when you get items.  And when they want the results is a mite off.  They want you to test some items in the off season.  You could potentially get into trouble.  I had one item that was a winter item that I got in the middle of the summer.  In Tucson.  Right.  I don't bow hunt.  I got an item that has doe in heat in arrow heads you shoot into tree trunks.  I got that in April a few years ago.  My brother in law in up state New York tested those for me. i didn't know about this site either.  Didn't matter.  Didn't have a putor at the time anyway. I never got the knife either.  I understand its a piece of garbage anyway.  For the people that aren't getting test items.  you have to register with stuff stuff befroe you start getting anything. And depending on how many points you have.  You can choose what to test.
