Thanks for the welcomes. Been gone so long that the site didn't even recognize me any more, so I had to create a new profile. Been trying to get back on for a while and finally figure out that my Explorer 8 was not compatible with the site. That was anoying till I got on through another computer and found a thread about it. |

I was born in Ark City and raised in Cedar Vale. Have a daughter that met a man and moved to Ark City a few years ago and she is still there so I get down that way every once in a while. |

I'm in Idaho now, but might head that way in the summer to visit family. Haven't been back there in 5 years, last time I was back there I was shocked the way the town has rundown, compared to when I was living there, but that's change. Got alot of good memories from that old town. |

Welcome Dunchunter, I was born and raised in Ks, the Augusta area, and then farm life south of Fredonia. I'm in Ponca city OK now but did work in Wichita about 16 yrs. Retired a few yrs back, spend most of my time around Kaw Lake either on the water or in the woods. |

I have several cousins around Winfield, one who works or had worked for the local newspaper. I lived in Winfield for 2 yrs back in early 70's working for my Uncle. Over the years I have driven back and forth to help him out with some of his larger counstruction projects. I can remember seeing a lot of deer and turkey around that area. |
