I took the NY legislature and the Governor a week to pass and put into practice the SAFENY act.
It has been four years since the crash of Flight 3407 and the new safety and pilot training regulations have still not been enacted. When an airplane crashes the death toll can be anywhere from 60 to 400. How many died at Sandy Hook?? Everyday we have over tired pilots or under trained pilots taking to the air with from 60 to 400 souls in that plane. But do we have maniacs walking into schools, theater, and churches on a daily basis? NO! But everyday by sheer luck somewhere a 747-400 doesn't fly into a mountain side. Maybe what we need is to limit airliners to seven passengers. It makes as much sense as the SAFENY act!!!!
