We all know there is racism out there, and yes Blacks have been treated badly in years past. Most of the First Early Blacks came here as Slaves that is true.
But the Early Americans did not invent Slavery, Slavery has been around since the dawn of man and the advent of war and prisoners of war. Those prisoners became slaves, depending on the society which captured them, and how they felt about those they captured and over threw, is how good or badly they were treated. Most slaves where defeated cultures and societies depend on the defeating culture or societies belief and understanding, on how cowardly surrendering and not fighting to the death was, is how they looked upon them.
The Black slaves brought to America were from African cultures defeated by other African cultures, captives traded to European traders not necessarily American traders for goods, and such. Slaves were a source of cheap labor, not free labor but cheap labor. A source of labor where the laborers had little or no say in what or how they did the labor. Those slaves came from a different culture, not educated to or in the standards of the slave traders, or owners. They where ignorant to the culture and cultural ways of their holders. They where looked down on, by most all whites.
The Northern industrial employers felt they where having to pay their workers, and even thought the slaves in the South may have actually been treated better than the paid workers of the North, they did not feel it was fair to them. They did not care about the slaves (Blacks) themselves. They did not care if they where educated, or fairly paid., they looked down on them just as those in the South did.
Yes Blacks were treated badly in America, but they were Slaves when they came here. And treated no differently than slaves anywhere in the world at the time. And as freed men in any culture are looked down on and had to earn the respect of the culture that freed them, that is Human nature no matter where you are. Yes they were decimated against and laws started to be enacted to protect them from that decimation. But that in its self was decimation. We already had a law, in that “all men” are created equal. Yes we have had problems in this Country, but nothing like many other Countries around the world. We have actually gone so far in this Country as far anti-decimation, that it has in its self has become decimation. And to point that fact out is considered racist by those who benefit the most by that type of decimation. And the fear of being seen as racist, prevent many of those who agree from saying it in public. That is what PC is doing to this Country. Bull Squat by any other name is still BS and smells the same. We must call a janitor an environmental specialist because the word/label is offensive to some, but they still scrub toilets, I don’t look down on them it is a job. And those who sh*t or pizz on the toilet seat and do not clean up after themselves and disrespect those who must clean up after them, are still arseholes. And will not respect them no matter what they are called
