At 7AM we had over 27.5" "reported" I have drifts over 4-5ft high.
I was lucky.. so far have not lost power.. The generator box was covered under the drifts...

we have 15-20 (at my house) with drifts up to 4 feet...elsewere some got over 30 inches and even higher drifts...wind is still blowing in some places, causing more drifts...I haven't been able to get ahold of my snowplow man...not that it would do much good, they still haven't plowed the street yet..made a pass or two right up the middle...but have not been back after that... |

Holly, I'm thinking that you got hit by the storm that's about to hit us(if yer still in AZ.) on Sunday morning, not the one that hit the East Coast. They initially predicted a foot or more for us, but have dialed it back to the 4 to 8 inch range. No biggy, I guess I'll finally break out the snowmobile and have a little fun  I hope you folks in the East come through that storm okay, that's one hard hitting Mofo!!!  |

Reminds me of the storms we use to get when I was a kid in the 60's... no big deal!
Just sucks digging yourself out from 2 feet of snow.
At least this stuff is light!

"Only" got 12" in southern Columbia County, NY....took some extra time clearing the driveway & roof. No loss of power so I was luckier than many others. But, it's winter, it's what happens!! |

Glad we didn't see any of the white sh*t!!! We did get 2 1/4" of rain last Wednesday, and at 7:45 this morning had already gotten over 1/2" and it's still raining. The weatherman said we might get a total of a 1/2" today! Boy did he miss that one!!!!!!!! Bad thing is it's going to be in the 70's today, and the high tomorrow is only going to be in the 50's and calling for more rain through Wed. Y'all just keep the white stuff. |

Our weathers guys called our little storm pretty good, we got the 8 inches that they were bragging about. This will only be the 3rd time I've had too plow this Winter. The 1st time was in November, the last 2 have been in the last week.
