I'm sorry, but I when I saw the Sandy Hook Elementary School choir singing "America The Beautiful" before the Super Bowl, I got a little upset. I honestly think that those kids were just being used as props (again) to get everyone in America feeling sorry about the tragedy, and hence advancing Obama's gun agenda. You might think I'm crazy, but I just don't see them singing simply because they were "good". Granted, they sounded good, but there were some underlying reasons for their presence.
Every sunrise I take in over a marsh or in a forest, I thank God for all he has given us.

You know it is, that type of tragedy just does not happen that often and they must get as much mileage out of as they can, at least til the next one. They hope to push their gun control agenda through on the emotional wave, which is begainning to fade a little, and they need to keep it alive.

Sympathy is a very strong motivator, control mechanism, and political tool. We now have many government aid programs, and generation’s dependant on them. Millions on some type of aid, which the Democratic Party supports, and those millions support the Democratic Party.

How did it happen? Sympathy for children is the biggest reason. What kind of mean heartless person could ignore a hungry child. What kind of monster could ignore the death of a child, and not try to prevent the cause of that death. Over the years we have become a Country, guided by out of control blind Sympathy.

Any reasonable or logical way of looking at any problem in a way that appears to lack total and compete Sympathy, is criticized, ridiculed as heartless and uncaring. If a problem involves looking at race as a factor, that to is looked at as racist and bigoted.

We are a Sympathetic society, and we have a need to be seen by others as sympathetic. We are easily shamed into doing or agreeing with things we really do not believe to be the real answer.

We look at the grieving Parents and family of a child and we have a need to help them. They are in an emotional state of despair, and misery and we know misery loves company. And if not very careful we fall into that emotional trap of Sympathy. Revenge and the need for it, is a powerful thing and to many who have lost a child; revenge is a part of that. It can be directed at or toward the person or persons believed to have caused it, or at a group, objects or activity. It may even be directed at things that are not always the cause but have only the potential. Emotion makes us human, reason makes us civilized.
