We see this everytime a criminal is shot. The mother always talks about her son being a " good " boy. Do they really think their criminal sons are gonna tell them " Hey Mom I hav an illegal gunt so I can committ crimes ! " or " Hey Mom I sell drugs after school ( if they even go to school ) and I run drugs for the local supplier ! " and they always seem so clueless as to what their " good " sons are doing at any given time. It is just ridiculous to think that if they are really " good " boys then whay do most of them have a police record at such early ages ? Ignoring the fact that there is the man himself as well as the 2 witnesses she still had to say that he didn't own a gun. So if he didn't own a gun then where did the one he was using in his attempted robbery come from ? But then again that takes common sense and we all know that common sense stopped being so common years ago. I do not liek seeing all these young people die everyday anymore than anyone else but when you decide to committ crimes the law of averages says that if you do it long enough that you will either get caught or in a case such as this shot while committing the crime. Every single morning when I get up and turn on my tv there has been at least one overnight shooting and on a lot of mornings there have been multiple shootings. Most come from either attempted robbery or a drug deal gone bad. I only go to Atlanta when I absolutely have to do so otherwise it usually involves my passing through when going soemwhere else. Sad but true. In my much younger days we would go to Atlanta especially on Sunday's and spend the day at Piedmont Park listening to upcoming local talent such as The Allman Brother's Band who would play for hours. Can't do that anymore as the park is now being run by the gays and lesbians who seem to think that if you are not of them or agree with their choices then you shouldn't be in the park. The adult entertainment clubs here are now just as dangerous as some of the rougher parts of the city and many shootings take place in their parking lots either at clsoing or after the ones involved having been thrown out for thier behavior. |
