I was listening to a talk radio show and they made a comment that was sooooo true. If Obama treated our enemies as he treats FOX news, Sean Hannity and others.. then we would have better foreign relation policy  Of course then they went on to say that this was childish high school politics and where Obama was the bully and they were expecting him to toilet paper the news station one night |

And the Senator says "Entitlement spending like Mecicare is out of control", so they attack the tens of millions of us who paid into medicare and social security without admitting one of the reasons it is out of control is the millions who are on the program who never paid a cent. |

abranch when I was in for my SSI there was an east Indian that was trying to get disability .He had only been here for 5 years and never paid in .His parents never paid in as they died in India .He was sent here to live with his only relatives .And he probably got it . That is the problem .Not with us that have paid into it for so long Me 13 is when I started . |

Yeah, I started paying income and social sec. taxes at 13, also; then it only took me 62 months to get my disability after my strokes, heart attack, surgeries, etc.after filing at age 52. Five years after filing, two lawyers, and going though all of my savings in order to pay my bills I finally got approved; and now my soc. sec. barely covers my mortgage and utility bills after 4 years of disability income. Yet, I know of some folks who never had to wait beyond 2 months to get theirs approved. I just happened to be a single white male who actually worked for a living as opposed to those people.

A friend of mine has very serious back problems and he was denied.
His lawyer told hime before applying that he should state that he had an alcohol or drug addiction problem because he would have a better chnace of getting approved!!! HE was pissed.
Unfortunately he did not re-apply and fight it... now it is to late.
A sad state of affairs when a disabled person can not get disability, but a drug addict can! |

Drugs and alcohol should not be disabilities .They are treatable .And are self inflicted . |
