This crap pizzes me off.  Where was all the outrage and media attention when the senate held up this bill loading it with all the pork ammendments???  Supposedly only $24B to $27B is going to Sandy relief with the rest of the $61B going to pork!!

I have no doubts that if the bill was not loaded with pet projects wasting tax dollars that ot would have made it through the Senate and House months ago.  But of course it is the Republicans fault and not the fault of those who added the pork.

Christie is proving that he should switch parties. Why should our tax dollars be used to rebuild those areas? I don't believe our taxes helped those folks build in flood zones in the first place. If the Federal Flood Insurance program doesn't provide the needed funds, then it's the individual state's and their citizen's problem, not the entire country's!

The house passed the first version and sent it to the senate were it got over loaded with pork .Now it is the houses fault that they wold not agree to it .The liberal way of thinking .Blame it on someone else .Why has not the people put the blame were it belongs .Take all the pork out and send it back to the senate .Put the ball in their court .Again.

Christie was just pissed because NJ isn't getting any Federal aid, until the house reconvenes. He's wanting his own pork bill, and he doesn't give a damn about the country. Hell, I agreed with Rand Paul on the fraudulent "fiscal cliff" sh*t, when he told the GOP to let the Dem's have their way, then when the voters raise hell, sit on the sidelines and point the finger and say, hey, it was their doings, not ours!!!!!!!!!

The house passed another .So the dems had to go along or be seen as the bad guy .Now the repubs have to take all the pork out of the next one and pass it and leave it in the hands of the dems .When it gets back to the house do it again .force the dems into a corner .

I have never understood WHY anyone would want to build in a known flood plain to start with. Even when they do and after the first flood one would think they would have enough common sense to not want ot go through another one. There is a lady here who lives in a well knonw folood plain and in my lifetime she has had to rebuild 14 times !!! WHY in the world would one want to keep putting themslevs through losing everything ? Also I would think that if you wanted to build in a flood plain then you should have to foot the bill for your own insurance and the government needs to get out of the flood insurance business period. DUMBAZZES !!!!!!!

This is just idiotic, in the first place! There shouldn't be any money provided other than payout of Flood Insurance for people who had that coverage! It's not the taxpayers responsibility to pay for these people's losses!!!!!!!!!! If they didn't have Flood Insurance, then fugg 'em!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
