Double talk has always worked for them .Make promises to all and then lie about the truth .That is all they have .

And why do you think the constitution is not tought in school anymore .Hell they dont even teach history either .

Darn Scallia doesn't look that old, looks good for being over 236 years old. Unlike Hancock when he signed the Dicclartion, must have signed very small over in the corner of the Constitution or somthing.

This isn't double talk, it's just a straight out lie and it's being used to misinform the uninformed!!!!

Like I said the Bill Of Rights and the Constitution is not tought in school anymore .We had to pass a test on them to get out of the 8 the grade .

This is akin to Columbus discovering America in that Columbus could not disciver something that already existed and Scalia can not create a right to bear arms as it already exist. What a bunch of DUMBAZZES ! I wonder if owners and editors even read what their " reporters " are writing ???

The bill of rights ( the first ten amendments) were added at the insistence of the lawmakers at the time and apparently most of the states would not have signed of on the Constitution without them.
As for Columbus discovering America, people were already fishing the grand banks off of Nova Scotia and the Phoenicians had mapped part of the coast of South America so what Columbus was trying to do was go between these land masses--and if not for the Caribbean islands and the connection between the "Americas", he might have.
