It's been coming, I've been putting off admitting it but the time has come. I CAN NOT keep running like I have in the past making calls and working as hard as I was. I HAE to slow down. The last 13 months has had me down on the bed as much as up. Even when I feel good, I don't have the strength to work very much. An hour or so and I'm too worn out to continue without a rest. SO, I had to make the decision to slow down. This means 2 things...

1. Availability is going to be less on my calls. I just can not make as many as I used to. Instead of 10 or so in a day, it's more like 2
    or 3 maximum.

2. Since I am able to spend more time on each call, I will be doing my best to make them nicer than before. Nicer woods, bands and
finishes to say the least. The sound will be as good or better than always.

3. Unfiortunately, because iof the better wiids, and finishes and other things, the price is going to increase as well. I'll price the calls as I finish them to be sure you get the best call for the price possible.

I don't want to stop all together. I enjoy making the calls too much to do that. I do want to cover my costs though. My new son in law is trying to learn to make calls but it's going to be awhile before he's good enough to help very much. As he gets able to do more in the shop, we'll start getting back to normal.

I TRULY want to thank everyone for all the support you have given me in the past. Right now the website is down while we regroup. There are a couple calls I am going to discontinue (for now at least). PLEASE bare with me as I make these adjustments.
THANKS!!!
Brian

REMEMBER...I AIN'T dead so I AIN'T stopping by any means. But I AM going to make calls when I feel upto it and rest when I need. Besides, it's time for me and Miss Kathy to get around to spending some quality time together. There will STILL be calls coming but not as many. TYhey'll still look and sound great and if I can they'll look and sound better.

Brian, do you make calls for kids? My 4 year old grandson just loves to honk around on any one of my calls he happens to pick up... surprisingly makes a fair duck caller even when he has my fawn bleat and I don't know how he does it.

What? Calls for kids are same as calls for adults----just learn to use earlier!

TiT is right. Lil'Bit has been using turky calls since she was 2. Just let the yuounen run with them. He'll see them on TV doing it and figure it out faster than youcan teach him.

Problem wid kids ain't having a "special" call for kids....it is having a tape of video of real birds calling.....they learn to mimick it better than you and embarass you!

He is just now running around with LilMan getting three wheeler ready for him to learn on! Last surgery seemed to have worked to get him back to where we thought he would be a year ago!
Miz Cathy's eyes are great, so are Brians, after cateract surgery. Miz Cathy decided to stay with him even after being able to see clearly how ugly he is!

You are a card Tom and also a good friend to Brian and his family.
Don't know what I would do with one of his calls but they are works of art in the pictures.

I bought Brian's Master Call Set No. 1......shipped in a shadow box......the Half Moon box call off that set is my go to box call as is the single pot with my handsome face on it with my first Rio to complete my US Slam! Good calls go to woods!
BTW, Brian challenged Lil Man to a hot dog eating contest and ended up back in hospital.....home now but neck is still sore.

Brian,
Happy to see you back, I echo the above comments, (except for Tom's), I don't know you well enough to call you what he did,LOL. a couple of us were wondering awhile back about you. Your Brain will continue to try to tell your body what, when, where, and how to do it, but your body will be calling the shots now, so seems like you have a good plan.
Welcome back, and just so you'll know, my granddaughter loves the demascus Hunting Knife you made for her last fall.
